Based on the photos, the chain is not derailed, yet the pedals spin freely, indicating a serious manufacturing defect rather than transit damage. I attempted to ride the bike immediately after assembly, but I couldn't move even a meter because the pedals wouldn't engage the drivetrain. Immediately returning the bike inside, the app logged a defect warning. Customer support refused to acknowledge the issue, insisting on self-repair for a factory defect. Do not purchase from this company.

I have been completely thrilled with my Packa Genie. I bought it to pick up my daughter from daycare when she was almost two. She's now 6 years old and we've just gone over 5000 miles. It's such an integral part of our lives, that I can't imagine living without it. I'm an old dad, so when I say that my favorite memories are riding my Blix with my daughter giving me a hug from behind, there are a lot of other memories that have fallen off. I have a front rack that I put a back-pack on; I sewed a blanket with clips to make a trunk out the safety cage. We fill it with bananas, water, oranges, and energy bars and ride together to feed the homeless. These are experiences that have taught my daughter charity, kindness, and empathy and they are inextricably tied to our Blix. I made a banner rack of PVC that I can clip to the safety cage if I feel like getting fancy and declaring something to the world. It's great to ride through town feeling silly and bold. This bike is 100% the best purchase I have ever made. I almost never drive and almost never buy gas. I never hunt for parking; I'm always right out front. I recommend purchasing foam inserts to protect the inner tubes. Because of their weight, ebikes are likely to pop their tires. The customer service has always come through, even when the mistake was mine; this is what brings me to write this review today. I have been extolling the virtues of my bike for years. This on-line review is long overdue.

I’ve had a very positive experience with Blix and wanted to share it. Four years ago I spent time riding an older version of the Sol e-bike, and what impressed me most was how well it held up over time. Even after years of use it still rode beautifully—smooth, quiet, and dependable. That stayed in my mind. Recently I decided to purchase a new Sol X for my wife, and the buying experience confirmed my impression of the company. Before ordering, I had a number of questions and reached out to Blix support. I had seen some reviews mentioning slow responses, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. In my case, the opposite happened. The team responded quickly, answered questions clearly, and communicated in a thoughtful and professional way. It felt like talking with people who genuinely care about what they’re building. The Sol X also fills a niche that many e-bike companies overlook. I own an Aventon e-bike and think very highly of that company as well, but they don’t offer a classic cruiser design like the Sol. Blix has leaned into something different—stylish, simple, and practical bikes that feel inspired by Scandinavian everyday cycling culture, where bikes are not just for recreation but for daily transportation. That idea resonates with me. I’ve been trying to shift more of my daily travel from car to bike, and the Sol X feels built for exactly that purpose—comfortable, approachable, and easy to ride. Blix seems to be working toward a bigger goal: making everyday cycling more realistic for people in the U.S., and doing it from their home base in Santa Cruz. I appreciate that vision. Based on my past experience with the durability of the Sol platform and the excellent support I received during the purchase process, I feel confident recommending Blix. I’ve owned my Blix Bike since 2021 and I LOVE IT. I have the cream Vika+ folding model, and it’s been perfect from day one. The battery lasts an impressively long time. I can go weeks without recharging. It’s also super easy to travel with; the bike folds up neatly and fits into most car trunks or small storage spaces. Overall, my Blix is stylish, easy to use, and has great power and speed. Honestly, it’s the best-looking bike out there. I get stopped all the time by people asking about it! Pro tip: Add a basket if you like to ride with your small pup. It makes the ride even more fun.

Riding the Blix Vika X for a year now and so glad I chose this brand. The quality build stands out whenever I park or ride by another ebike. It's a zippy ride made even easier with the smooth auto-shift. Everyone wants to know what I'm riding. The customer support is also exceptional. I've reached out 2x with questions via email and received same-day replies. Today they sent me tutorials to walk me through to the solution with photos and videos. They make it so easy and instill confidence to maintain your ebike. You can tell that Blix (and its new management) also love the product and are going to be around to support it.

I wrote a review recently, complimenting the Customer Service team at Blix. I still stand by that. This review is for the Blix Company as a whole. I own a Blix Ultra e-bike, a now discontinued model. The Ultra requires the Blix Connect app to access Class 3 mode. After getting amazing service to get mine back on the road, they informed me that the current version of the Blix Connect app is no longer compatible with the Blix Ultra. There is no other way to access Class 3 on the controller and Blix tells me there are no plans to make it compatible. There aren’t even any legacy versions available. This means that all Ultra owners are no longer able to access Class 3 mode on their bikes. To make the decision to abandon all Ultra users like this is unacceptable. I don’t expect a company to perpetually support discontinued product, but they shouldn’t take features away either. I will never buy another Blix bike if this is the way they choose to handle product models that have reached end of life.

We love the bike, and support has been quick and effective. I'm probably going to get a second bike from them soon, as the first one was for me wife.
