My Blix Aveny (now a discontinued model BOO) purchased in 2020 has turned out to be a very reliable bike. I have 8,400 miles on my one battery, and have purchased a second battery as a back up. Both my father and I have the Aveny (he got one because he liked mine so much), and although mine has had no problems, his bike had a problem with the display and we had to order another one. It took more than a few weeks to receive it, but we were relieved that Blix had back up parts. Turns out with the Blix you must use Blix parts -- the displays sold on Amazon will NOT work! They no longer sell the battery that fits my model, so once both of them wear out, I won't have any options because it's not a "standard" battery. Hopefully, I will have many years of riding left. It's a comfortable bike, and I feel very happy when riding it.

I bought a Blix Vika+ about 4 years ago. Front headlight not working, and front tire mounted improperly to the rim...it blew out on the first ride around the block. Blix was pretty quick to send on a new tire and lamp and things were pretty good. Then rear spokes started to fail. I would replace them as needed, about 12 spokes over a year or two, but I feel I have gotten rid of all the weak ones as I hav'nt replaced any for a while.

Buyer Beware! We ordered two Sol Eclipse Cruisers with one color Sorbet and the other Seafoam. Both bikes included free fenders, rear rack and front baskets. About 4 July 2024, four boxes were received which included all fenders, two front baskets and one rear rack. There were not any instructions with these boxes. On July 7 2024 the main part of the Seafoam cruiser was received and included step by step instructions for assembly. What the instructions did not include was a heads up that instructions for the basket, fenders and rear rack had to be downloaded from the Blix website and should be reviewed BEFORE starting the assembly of the main part of the bike. As a result, I completed the assembly of the bike, downloaded instructions for the free parts and then had to undo part of the bike assembly to install the free fenders, and front basket. I had also downloaded instructions for the rear rack, but the instructions did not match the rear racks I had received. I called Blix and was told they would have to email me the correct instructions for the rear rack. On 10 July 2024 I received the Sorbet colored cruiser and was able to assemble the bike and free stuff without the hassle involved with the first bike. Better communication from Blix would have prevented the hassle with the first bike received. Also, if a rider needs the seat all the way down on the post, you cannot install the rear reflector on the seat post. Do we like the bikes? Absolutely, but our experience would have been much better if Blix had provided better instructions for the assembly of the bikes.

I got my Blix Aveny 3 weeks ago. I have had several problems but I am still able to ride the bike. I have had some frustration and customer service issues but honestly they have done everything possible to correct the issues and with a bit of patience I know I am going to years of love on this bike. I bought the bike for the style and my needs, knowing e bikes are still really new and while I hate to say it the pandemic really did throw a monkey wrench in the entire scheme of it all. My bike arrived 4 weeks after I ordered it, I'm a 65 year old woman and I unpacked and assembled it in 2 hours and rode soon after. I have had a rear motor or breaking problem but they (Sherise) has worked closely with me and the replacement parts are on the way. Its a beautiful bike, be patient and it will love you back.
