BlinkReviews of blinkforhome.com

Bought 2 systems and we always just took pictures but now you can't just take pictures. I don't know what happened why I just can't take a photo. I don't need a video. So in my opinion Blink sucks. Don't buy it if you want to just take photos. I don't understand why it was changed.

New app upgrade sucks. Can’t review more than 1 clip without exiting the app and reopening it to see another clip. It wants to know what date this happened on, every day since update,

This has the be the worst camera i have ever had. Originally went with blink after an incident at my apartment caused me to get cameras & ring was charging too much & unavailable that day but now I am switching to them as blink gives me MONTHLY issues. the battery is constantly dying & when you replace it , it takes forever if ever .. to get the thing back working properly. Customer service is literally no help they’d rather fake help you by making you do everything than to actually provide service. I never know when or why the camera isn’t working until i realize I haven’t got notifications of movement on my phone in a while. Super complex to reset & has been doing this for the whole year & some change I have had it. Would never recommend this to anybody unless you just desperately need a camera like i did. OH ! & don’t waste your time attempting to reach out to blink because all they’re going to do is close your ticket claiming they solved in when in fact they did not (:

I think Condensation got into blink video door bell camera, the picture is all foggy. Got in touch with them to tell them my problem last night and they haven’t responded back. I was very happy with the door bell before this and I was thinking about getting more cameras. I will update this if blink get in touch and tell you what happened fingers crossed.

I tried to open an outdoor camera to replace the battery and the square gasket broke. Blink stated there is not a replacement for this so I am stuck using this camera indoors now. am sure this is not an isolated incident. This should be a standard replacement part in my opinion. Very frustrated with Blink.

I've let this go as Blink is still a good value for the money, despite their lackluster support. If I have a problem with their tech, it's a risk imo but they do serve my needs. Had been overall happy with Blink, but if you have a problem with your cameras and have paid for their Blink Plus plan expecting service, you should know that you won't get service unless you grant access to your system. I suppose in some cases, that's no problem, but I stated I'd have a concern as others live here, but as it stands, unless I give them access to my camera system, I can't get support. That doesn't seem right. To make matters worse, I reached out directly to Amazon and they are absolutely no help. So I guess buy the plan but don't expect warranty replacement if you can't give access. That doesn't seem right to me.

Rip off, cameras are decent, but if you purchased after 4/20 they con you into paying subscription and youre stuck with cameras that are useless!!!

I purchased a Blink video doorbell and it simply did not work! As we have a Eufy security system we simply gave up and bought a wireless doorbell instead! Do not give this company your hard earned cash it’s a waste of time and effort!!!!
