Good food with good portion size. Filling. I like that it's nutritionally balanced. Also, I don't like going to meetings, so this plan works well for me.

The Menopause Plan - 3 Meals/5 Days I am losing weight. About 1/2-1 pound per week. I was hoping for a faster weight loss but realized the meal plan is helping me better understand my true metabolism rate now that I am in my early 50s. I thought I needed about 1400 cal to lose weight but realized the true number is closer to 1100-1200 cal. That was tough at first but through BistroMD I am eating healthy, preservative-free, and tasty food. I learned that I was not eating enough calories, good fats, and proteins at mealtimes. I cringed at the fat grams and the amount of protein in each meal, but I have realize my hair and skin are starting to take on a healthier glow even while loosing weight. I was constantly starving on other plans and would cheat with healthy items such as nuts, only to find that I just consumed a meal's worth amount of calories in one handful. The Biggest Benefit - Being able to eliminate problem foods and still have a good selection of meals. I was turned away from other plans because they could not eliminate problem foods. I suffer from migraines related to food preservatives and/or enhancers such as msg, sodium nitrate and sulfides. I also have a sensitivity to whey protein and was able to remove all of them from my plan. Overall Cost - It is going to cost me more than I originally planned but my grocery bill has reduced. Also, I can still enjoy meals with the family (Mom of Teens) on the weekends and have not totally blow my weight loss journey. I am just getting better at a Pre-Menopause portion at meal times and cooking with good fats, carbs & proteins. Finally, I appreciate it may take time to fully reach my goal but have recently noticed that my pants are fitting better and I get to eat carbs. My mid-section is starting to trim down. I thought this would never happen at my age especially since I carry most of my weight in my hips and thighs.

I chose Bistro MD to lose weight because nothing else was working for me. I lost 2 pounds the first week and one pound each week after that just as promised. The meals are good. I work day and night so I am glad not to be cooking. I will continue until I reach my goal. I am very sensitive to salt and this is the first meal plan that has not had me swell up and retain water from excessive salt. No problems with delivery. Comes every Wednesday as promised. Good plan.

I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. I also had a very bad experience with my first order. The website says delivery Mon - Wed but it never shipped until after that. Still, I was promised delivery by Friday, which never happened. And despite the fact that BistroMD was informed that no one would be there on the weekend, it was left outside, in the rain, on Saturday., were it sat, until Monday. The crazy thing is that the folks at BistroMD never take responsibility. You can see it in their response to the negative reviews. Below, they tell an 85 year old that the dry ice leakage won't spoil her food. Really? And how was she to know that? They gave her credit for one meal? How about "Our apologies, we will give you credit for the shipment". In my case it was my fault as well and they offered only to "replace the shipment". No thanks. I don't plan to do business with you. ever.

The inconsistency in shipping schedules causes storage issues on my end, when they deliver a 7-day plan on Friday and deliver the next week’s batch on Tuesday. My understanding is that delivery is expected between Monday to Wednesday, but when I asked customer service about the delay they said I should normally expect delivery between Wednesday to Friday, but when I signed up it was made clear delivery was between Monday to Wednesday. Other than reliability in their delivery the food is okay,

I wanted to share that I have found this service to have the BEST customer service ever!! I was looking specifically for a home food delivery service that would be a weight loss plan for me, and I found an Excellent one. I called with all my questions, and despite their telecommunications being affected by the recent hurricanes, Rebecca in Customer Service got right back to me. And not just on one occasion. I really can't say how much I appreciated her and the company's concern for my satisfaction. Thank you BistroMD! I highly recommend you.

I have just started the program. So far I have been happy. The delivery was easy and eco friendly. The meals are tasty. Some people may think the price is high but I can spend $30 dollars a day easy if I eat out for all 3 meals AND not be eating healthy food. I really enjoy the convenience of having a meal ready to eat in 3-4 minutes. So far so good.

Food is good , easy to get thru the day with out thinking of food every moment .
