I’ve only had one bad experience since giving plasma and that was because for some reason I wasn’t returning blood. I was left with a horrible bruise from trying to move the needle around. It took over two weeks for the bruise to disappear. That is the only bad experience I have in the year I have been donating. Everyone is extremely nice and supportive. I am usually hooked up and done donating in a reasonable time.

I initially had a tough time getting in for my 1st Appointment with the Physical, However, once that was completed it has been a breeze. The staff is friendly, most of them are communicative and let you know exactly what they are doing and when, what to expect and they check on you during the appointment. It's a beautiful thing to be able to donate plasma to those in need.

Bioplasma Largo Florida is horrendous. It is not worth the money!! Out of 4 visits not a single one was under 3 hours. My new patient appointment was almost 5 hours long. I left the 4th appointment after 2 hours and still not in the donating chair. The facility is incredibly understaffed and the few employees they do have, don't give a single care about you as a patient or your time. My first donation, the male tech never even said hello. I was not given any verbal indication of what to expect and when I was done, I was given zero aftercare instructions. You STAND in line for an hour for vitals then they say Oh your heart beat is high. Well yea!! I just stood in line for an hour!! As a new donor for the first 2 visits, you stand in an open area. Stand! For another hour. I have never ever seen such disregard for a patients time. I'd rather go back to OneBlood for a 20 dollar gift card. At least they care about me as a person.

Every person I spoke with was considerate and kind. They were pleasant to work with!

Why schedule an appointment, when you still have to wait 2+ hrs to be seen!!! (More than one date) Staff the damn place. The staff at Largo, Florida are great, but the wait is insane. I have walked out nearly every other visit because of the line!!! I am going elsewhere when I am done with their less than adequate compensation.

I appreciate that they open early so I can donate before I go to work in the morning. I tend to get through the process 99% of the time with no problems. Every body is different so patience with “finding” the vein is needed. 100% accuracy is not practical in this line of work. Sometimes you may get a trainee learning how to do this job. If you are in a hurry and expect everything to go perfectly all of the time, this may not be for you. I’m glad to help those in need and am surprised and thankful to receive compensation.

Went in for annual physical and donation. It took less than 1 1/2 hours, total!! It was great !! Staff is amazing! Shout out to BioLife on East Paris in Grand Rapids, MI!!

I have been with BioLife for a year now and every experience with them has been excellent, even when I have been turned away. The entire staff is helpful and friendly. I have been offered to pursue another Plasma services but that's not going to happen. It is a drive for me to get to the facilities but it's worth it .
