Hi Laura, Thank you so much for your review! We are happy to hear that you recommend Bike Rent NYC and that our service really translated to an exceptional experience for you. PS - we agree; there is no better way to see Central Park than on a bike!
Gerda
old bikes, too smaal, bad maintained, no brakes and gears didn't work. Disappointing experience.

Hello Gerda, I am sorry to hear this but tank you for your feedback. We generally rotate the bikes in our lineup every year to always have newer units available. While we do have bike mechanics in our stores to maintain our stock, we apologize if the bike you received was not up to our normal high-standard. We will certainly address this internally in our efforts to be a better company.
Bella
Visited from the UK and wanted to cycle around Central Park. Bikes were good value and worked very well, and I was given enough time to cycle around the park twice with lots of time to spare! Lovely helpful staff as well. My favourite part of my trip, it was so worth it and a great way to see the park! I’d highly recommend doing it.

Lines way too long, service not up to par.

Hello Neal, Thank you for your feedback here as it helps us to discover areas which we need to improve upon. We do work hard to minimize wait times and the overall efficiency in our stores. As such, we have many self-service kiosks at all of our locations which can take your booking. However, we will certainly put your feedback to good use and re-evaluate how we can be better!

The bikes are good and the service is polite and respectful except for the games that all the bike rental companies seem to play with pricing. They will advertise a price that seems really good, but when you try to get that price, they tell you that that price is only available at their other store on such and such street, and only with a previous reservation.
