I had a very disappointing experience with this store. The staff I delt with are rude,unorganized, and lazy. I purchased a kitchen counter height table and needed to get a truck and help to pick it up. After going 20 min home and calling a friend to arrange this we go back to the store and they say they dont have it . The manager refunded my money in cash and then gave me the SKU# to look up online. I found the table I wanted online but it was 45 miles away. I called the store and talked to a manager telling her my issues and asked if they could have it moved to a closer store and her response was "no anything else I can do for you." I will not be going back to this store to purchase anything and strongly recommend you force the sales person to make sure they physically have the item at that store if you purchase something . I feel they saw 45 miles away and all the arrangements needed was not an inconvenience and just something that they do.

Isn't it ironic that they expect us to "understand" that deliveries will be longer during these "unpresedented times" but will not allow customers the same courtesy for returns? I ordered three bamboo blinds, and unexpectedly had to leave the state to take care of my covid19 sick parents interim. The 30 days were up on the 15th of July. I was able to return home on the 21st, and immediately upon opening the package realized that the blinds were not what I thought they would be. I called them today the 22nd to arrange for a return and explain my delay and the reason for it.. after speaking with cust. serv I was told the best they can do is credit me 15%off each item, a total of $13. Xtremely insulting!! So now I'm stuck with these blinds I will never be able to use and all my little saved money out the window. Would this have taken place before CV19 I would understand the rigid return policy. These days however, when so many companies, and even we as individuals go out of our way to be flexible with one another, it's especially heartless. There are so many other reputable options these days, save yourself the disappointment and spend your money elsewhere! I'll never purchase here again and will be sure to share my experience with everyone I know.

we were there today spent $170 cashier had forgotten to give us a bag we had stayed in the parking lot at least 10 minutes on an important phone call you would think the cashier would have came out and said I forgot to give you your bag when got home and realized call Big Lots expected somewhat of an apology since we had to drive back up there no apology no big deal not very good customer service

They do not even rate one star. They are dishonest, sell damaged goods to people that have to be picked up, I opened my tv stand, it was damaged and they refused to pick it up. I will never spend one penny in their store again!

When I went in to purchase my sofa I was told 2 weeks to receive it in the store! It has been over a month. I paid in full and it was not a Cheap item. I am still deciding if I want to cancel my purchase. They told me it would cost me $5 to cancel. Beyond irritated. I could have had a new couch already from a different store.

Hi my name is Edna Green and I went to the big labs in Harrisburg Pennsylvania Union deposit store today to purchase furniture. The associate and her name is Naomi was excellent and helping us purchase the chair giving us the name of the driver who could help with delivery and we were able to get everything we needed to for fill our needs. She was most gracious checked another store for the couch that we wanted and theyDid not have it and she was able to give us the chair that was on the floor. We appreciated her and just wanted to know that you have a wonderful associate and we will be coming back again to do business. Her customer service skills were above and beyond and we thank you.

Just moved into a new apartment and needed furniture so I ordered a couch and ottoman 2 weeks ago. They told me it takes about a week for the shipment to come in. Well I called today and they told me its going to be a month from now before I expect my furniture. So instead of 1 week it turned into 6 weeks... Why did they lie? if I knew it was going to take this long I would’ve never ordered and I’m out $100 because they won’t refund my deposit. What a joke. My family will never shop at Big Lots again.

Purchased a chair in august 2019 and the structure in the seat broke. Reading the terms and conditions we discovered that once that item is in your possession ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is covered under the warrenty. The warrwnty is bogus. DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY.
