Morris, you are likely confusing the light weight of your NEW cover when comparing to your old cover that was heavy with water weight gain. We get this comment often. ALL new covers are light weight to begin with, until they begin to add weight from water absorption near their end of life. Further, new cover weight is only a measure of the foam density and not an indicator of overall cover quality or performance. For example, a 4" thick cover made with 2# density foam will weigh more than a 6" thick cover made with 1# density foam. The 6" thick cover will insulate MUCH better, R24 vs R15. When ordering, this buyer apparently misunderstood the 5 bullet points & detailed explanation of our three panel cover standard configuration, including the picture we provide to show an example. It is clearly stated, "One end panel will be attached to the center panel." Then he clicked the "I confirm my agreement with the three panel cover configuration explained above" and completed his check out. The cover was manufactured and delivered. We had no way of knowing the buyer had something else in mind. Upon receipt, the buyer called boiling mad the cover was not a tri fold. When we asked for confirmation that the cover was indeed made as our web site configuration explained, he began threatening bad reviews. Our offer stands. If we made it incorrectly from what our configuration explains, we will gladly resolve the issue. If the buyer assumed - or "obviously assumed" as he wrote above - it would be a tri fold cover without reading our configuration, then we made the cover exactly to our specifications and did nothing wrong.

Upon receiving a picture of this failed handle, we offered to correct the problem by making and shipping a new exterior vinyl for no charge. This would obviously include new handles. The buyer did not accept our offer, and within hours of our offer, left negative reviews. The buyer then emailed "I will not speak with you any longer".

This buyer states "Cover damaged when received". If so, why did the buyer accept the delivery? The buyer SIGNED the Delivery Receipt but did not make any notation of damage to the cover??? That makes no sense. Because no damage was noted at the time of delivery, the freight insurance was voided. We still filed a freight damage claim with R+L. It was denied because there was no evidence to support the claim. The standard procedure we explain to all our clients is for "Damage" to be noted on the Delivery Receipt at the time of delivery. When this is done, BeyondNice can immediately start manufacturing a replacement cover, and files a damage claim which would then be covered by the insurance. Given the facts of this particular situation, we still understand the buyer is not happy and still want to work with the buyer to attempt to resolve this situation. Even when BeyondNice does nothing wrong, we still outperform for our clients!
