I had a VERY positive experience here. I felt ill on 3/28 but did not have the typical COVID19 symptoms although I had never been that ill in my 46yrs! I am essential worker so I expressed concern about my employees and was tested on 3/29. I was positive and all of my employees are still well. I attribute this to them testing me and I greatly appreciate that. The testing process was very smooth and the PA Mallick actually made me laugh through my emotional sick tears. Tracy helped me with my sick leave paperwork and I'm so grateful for the fact I was tested and my staff is safe and now I am ready to return to work. Thank you for all you do and especially for that laugh as you stuck that eternally long Q-tip up my nose PA Mallick!! Keep up the good work and know you are appreciated! Jennie Duffy

I reserved an appointment at 10:30 am 5 days ahead of time. I got there at exactly 10:30. We were greated and told that they would notify reception that I was there. Another car pulled up was tested and left. Again they asked my name and said they would notify reception that I was there. After a 20 min wait and still no phone call phone call, I left untested. It is now 11:30 and there has been no call to even ask for a return. They were not changing gloves between patients either. This place ABSOLUTELY does not have their crap together. I will schedule an appointment at Patient First where they care about their patients and their patients time.

Hi Amanda, We are sorry to hear about your experience with us. It has been challenging having to learn and execute new processes and procedures to meet the community's demand for exams and testing. Our patient and staff safety is always our highest priority and we make every effort to keep sanitation top of mind. The "front line" staff wears two sets of gloves, so they can remove pairs in between patients. We take your feedback very seriously and will be sharing your comments with our management team. Our goal is to always improve our patient experience, so thank you for your time and comments.

It’s incredible how you say you care about the community, but all you care about is the money. So I went to my PCP about some symptoms I am having and she told me to go to bettermed and get tested for COVID 19. I went online registered and was on my way. So I get a phone call stating that we can’t see you cause you have a past due balance. I am not working right now due to this pandemic, and have symptoms. I am also a diabetic with early onset COPD, but I can’t get tested due to billing department. I understand I owe money but if a person isn’t working right now how do you expect them to pay. So pretty much screw my life it doesn’t matter right. Have fun bettermed.

I had a COVID 19 test on April 1st and it was suppose to take 24 to 48 hours to get the results back. Here it is a week later and I still do not have my results. Meaning that I have not been able to go to work or leave my house because I do not know my status. After numerous phone calls since Sunday I was finally told yesterday that my last name was entered incorrectly and the could not link the results to my chart. They have it fixed but now they are waiting for the results to be sent over. I do not know why they cannot pick up the phone to call the lab and get a verbal so that I can know my status. I entered my name as it is on my health insurance so why they did not enter it the way that it should have been. This is not a time for mistakes and i think this one is so callous and there is no excuse. I need my results ASAP so that i can hopefully get to work if it is negative.

They didn't really do anything. I went in with Vertigo, because we were in the midst of Flu season, and Patient First had been very busy, BetterMed's parking lot was always empty. They asked me a few questions, took my blood sugar, and wrote a prescription for Meclizine. That same day, my vertigo got so bad, my vision went fuzzy, I got a bad headache, etc. -- all of which lead me to the emergency room. At the emergency room, they did what they could do, and took a CT Scan. I setup an appointment with a PCP, and went to patient first 2 times. The reason I mention this is my cost (deductible/copay) of the ER Visit + CT Scan + 2 Patient First Visits + PCP Visit COMBINED were less than what the single visit to BetterMed was, and with the other visits to the other places, I feel like I at least got something out of it.

I had a wonderful experience at this location. I did not feel well at all, and was very pleased at how fast I was serviced, and how courteous every staff member was. Other urgent cares were a 4 to 5 hour wait. I heard about BetterMed from a radio add. Great job with your marketing. I have told many of my friends, and family members about my positive experience at bettermed. I was helped at the BetterMed in Matthews NC.
