Testing for Covid ugh! It was quick. The staff worked efficiently and swiftly with safety in mind. I love Better Med 5 minutes to no wait time. Staff are courteous and present to be truly concerned about any medical issue you have.

Honestly, service was great, however they charged my insurance a ridiculous amount for an office visit for the flu test because they had just opened and my insurance rejected the claim. When I called to ask why it was so high and if they could resubmit the claim the only answer I got was that I had to pay out of pocket. Then why have insurance? Save your time and frustration and go to Novant urgent care down the street.

I was billed for my COVID19 test when it was supposed to be free. In no was that stated or made clear at the time of service or else I would not have tested at the facility. Additionally, results were supposed to be returned in 5 business days and they were not returned for 7 business days.

Thank you for your comment. I understand your frustration. There has been talk about COVID testing being free, but there has been no direction from the Federal or State government about how this is going to happen and they are not able to test at the level that needs to happen in order to open the economy back up. We are a small business and in order to operate our facilities and pay our hard working employees who put themselves at risk everyday during this crisis, we must charge an evaluation fee. We also believe that it is the medically prudent thing to do and we have helped many people get critically needed immediate care by doing so. Thanks again for your feedback and stay well.

The care I have gotten has been superb. Unfortunately I have not been able to get care recently because of the Wuhan virus. Hopefully that will change.
