Waited a very long time to be seen. When I asked how much longer it would be, I was told there was only one provider that day so they were backed up. When I finally did see someone, a nurse practitioner I believe it was, she explained well and answered my questions directly & thoroughly. I probably spent about 15 minutes actually speaking with someone yet the bill submitted to insurance specified the time for the visit as "up to 45 minutes". That was more like the wait time than the time actually spent with me.

The wait was over an hour before seeing a doctor even though I had made a reservation on-line and there weren't any cars in the parking lot or waiting room. I ended up leaving and going to another place.

Very accommodating and quick with test results

Due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19, I was required by my employer to go get tested before coming back to work. In the past, when I was legitimately sick, I visited BetterMed to get tested, which was a great visit, quick and easy and wasn’t required to pay anything. When I arrived early for my appointment last week, I was treated like crap over the phone, after calling in to let them know I was there, it seemed no one that called me after that was on the same page. I was required to pay $75 before ever getting the test done, and I was told after the test that I wouldn’t get my results for 5-6 days. Eight days later, I received a call on a Sunday at noon.. letting me know I was negative, after having to provide my date of birth.. just to hear the results? Meanwhile, several of my co-workers went to other locations, and got their results within twenty minutes, and not having to pay anything, when we all have the same insurance company.. felt like I was taken advantage of, treated like crap and put on the back burner for a week. Definitely would not recommend BetterMed. Additionally, it seemed like the employee looking at my insurance info didn’t even know what she was doing. She didn’t even seem aware or not whether she should charge me or not... but did anyways.

Better Med is the only urgent care place I go. Service is quick, people are friendly! Never had bad issues at any Better Med.
