It didn't go well. No fault of BetterHelp all their contact e-mails were getting filtered by a major freemail provider as junk for a week (ok that's fine, but goes to show). Then after chatting with the assigned counsellor she had no free slots for next two weeks only to discover she didn't really have expertise in what I needed help with. Edit - I initially said this felt like a scam. I still feel strongly about it being service that could be quite ill-fitting, but after I've contacted them, they've understood and refunded my initial deposit. Interestingly the customer service was prompt.

Great and very helpful, especially as you set your own session time and can do so from home!

BetterHelp is easy to start on and the freedom I am allowed to schedule appointment and communicate via direct messaging is very important to me.

I find this Betterhelp to be a great way to get help. My counselor and i have talked through alot and she has really helped. It especially helps that i can be seen when it works for me. I dont have to bend my schedule to make my appointments. Im grateful for Betterhelp.
