Worst counseling service offered. I have had 2 video sessions. My counselor was a no show for the third. Didn’t even reach out to say sorry. Radio silence. I scheduled my time around the meeting I set up. I changed counselors and went through the whole intake process again. Set up a video call. This counselor showed up but she could not hear my audio. Both of our computers passed the better help video test. So I didn’t have another session. I emailed better help no response yet. The counselor since has not reached out to check on me. I reached out to this service because I needed it. I don’t feel like I’m a priority. Just a number. I reported this issue to my employer who pays for this service to their employee’s.

Couldn’t be happier with the counseling received from Brett D. at BetterHelp. I got more out of this program then expected. I’ve done traditional therapy with minimal payout but I will continue to recommend the app to everyone, it’s been an amazing experience. If your on the fence jump in, you won’t regret it!!

I love This website it has helped me so much with my mental state of mind has turned my frown upside down as told me what it's like to be alive again to smell the grass again and the fresh air I was highly depressed and my counselor is educated professional and amazing even though I've never met her in person I love her and I recommend her and I recommend this website

You get a lot less for your money than they advertise. They tell you you'll get all these sessions for the price of around 2 sessions with a regular therapist, but what they leave out is that each session is only half an hour. If you book a session a week (which is usually all that's available) it still adds up to $200/hour, which is exactly what they're claiming you won't be paying. They also say you can message your therapist in between sessions for extra help, but the response is usually just to wait till the next session. I lost money signing up for this, and it's a huge regret.

Strongly would recommend BetterHelp! I have now been having weekly video calls with my counselor, Barbara Lee, for over one year. She has helped me to make major progress in many aspects of my life (including my sleep schedule, nutrition, setting boundaries, work-life balance to name a few). BetterHelp's platform is straight forward and so convenient to make mental health a priority.

Really like being able to text my counselor when ever I want to and that she listens and will ask questions to better understand before she just says whatever.

My therapist is accessible and always quick to respond to my messages! He has provided me with so many tools to utilize for my anxiety, and our “face to face” phone sessions are productive and grounding. He is a great match for me; I always feel that he is actively listening to me, and offering pertinent suggestions.
