The therapy is okay but don't try to cancel
The therapy is okay, but don't try to cancel your subscription. I'm in about the upteenth week of trying to get my money back. I had about 2 sessions with a new therapist after my old therapist quit. This apparently a pervasive problem. The new therapist was very mismatched to my needs (and only gets paid $20 or $30 per session) as well as out of my time zone so could rarely meet with me. Save your money and get a real therapist in real time who can really hear you. Unlikely a live therapist will charge you for therapy you never had.

We're so sorry for any trouble you've had trying to receive billing assistance for your account, Asher. As long as you're contacting us through the email address linked to your paid account (which you can do by using the "Contact Us" option after logging in), we should be able to assist you with getting your money back for unused time. We're also sad to hear that your second therapist match wasn't a good fit for your needs. It's not uncommon to have to try a few options in order to find the ideal fit, but we understand how discouraging a truly "bad fit" can be. We'll be sure this feedback is shared with our product and clinical teams as they work to improve the matching process. All the best, BetterHelp Team
