Just over a year ago my life turned around after finding Victor Grimes at Better Help. After years of pain and suffering he helped me get back on track to where I am now, a place of peace, serenity, joy and happieness. His holistic approach has been very suitible to my needs and I have learned a great deal about myself in the process of recovery. Above all he is a true listener from the heart. A real human being, who really does care.

I have been on BetterHelp for a few months and have really enjoyed it from the very beginning. Being able to take a survey to find the right therapist, that actually works, took a lot of the pressure of searching for someone away. Having chat, phone or video available to me and being able to type out my thoughts and send them whenever they feel important has totally changed the game for me. I enjoy the video sessions when I need them but I am heavier on the chat option. I have recommended this service for my friends because of the ease and the freedom I get from it. And for less than $400 a month for therapy almost anytime I need it? It felt like a big expense to add to my month but I have honestly been so happy.

I have had a lifetime of trauma, from childhood trauma to job-related PTSD to adult trauma from violent and abusive relationships. I have been to counseling over the years but never felt comfortable enough to open up and receive the help being offered. Since I reached my do-or-die point during a pandemic, I reached out to BetterHelp. I found an amazing counselor, who is relatively local to me, that made me feel valued, appreciated and validated. I have been able to open up for the first time and that has allowed me to find the solace I needed to start my journey to a better version of me. I would reccommend BetterHelp and it's counselors.

BetterHelp has been a game changer. My schedule is crazy so the virtual option has been very helpful. The fact that I don’t have to drive to a location and sit in front of a stranger to talk about my problems helps. I have the option to message, call, or Videochat. And I can do any of those things any where. Talk therapy through betterhelp has helped me recognize what I want out of life and work through my troubles. My therapist has been wonderful and patient, they listen and offer suggestions rather than tell you how to live your life,

Useless website. I filled out all the information and answered a bunch of questions and I put in that I needed help for “mental/emotional issues and narcissistic personality disorder“ They assign me to a therapist and the guy didn’t even read the form I filled out because he still asked me what I needed help with so I pretty much had to reiterate all the same damn information and then he tells me “sorry I can’t help you“ so luckily I was able to get my money back but this was a huge waste of my time

I have begun to realize the importance of optimal mental health and self-accountability. I had heard of BetterHelp through their partnership with RC Blake’s and I felt a spiritual urgency to unpack the garbage in my life, including hatred, bitterness, resentment, anger, jealousy, and envy, and to put it where it belongs. It is a slow and sometimes painful process but I am a firm believer that being accountable for ones own actions and thoughts are expedient to grow, thrive, and to be happy and healthy. To refuse to do so will lead to stagnation, decreasing mental health and worse. Mental illness is rampant and it’s consequences are even fatal. As a black woman who cherishes her spiritual relationship, I am also learning to cherish myself. Look around you…Mental health is important. This is a process and I am loving myself to much not to understand how important it is to work on ME!!!
