Therapist is ok but the app? Absolute trash. There were a few times when the connection was so bad that we had to resort to chats instead of video calls. Also, there were times when for some reason the therapist didn't dial in even though I've paid for the session. Wasted money for nothing. Fix and invest in your engineering team, your app is driving people insane

The therapist doesn't message me back for days and not available spot for any appointments. Her reseans to be not responding me back were she won't be able to response on weekend. I didn't message her weekend. Of course I knew about 24 hours to wait as well. I paid weekly and just wasted.

A very supportive team of admins running this great and affordable platform in parallel with having a considerable number of outstanding therapists that you can definitely find a great match.

TLDR: Two therapists both just avoided replying to me. I gave up and couldn't even get a full refund ... I tried BetterHelp, initially with hope and optimism. 1st therapist: I messaged them a fairly detailed first message, full of what I was looking to deal with and what I wanted to get out of therapy. A fairly large opening statement to give a summary of why I was there. They replied a day later saying it was Friday and they would reply on Monday. Monday came around, no word from them. Nothing on Tuesday. I chased him up on Wednesday, no reply. Nothing Thursday. Finally I used the 'swap therapist' option. 2nd therapist: I let them know why I swapped and went over my opening message again. They replied with some copy and paste rules of therapy (they would reply once per day etc.) I replied just saying OK I understand. The next day more copy and paste rules. Information is confidential. It was like talking to a robot. The next day they messaged asking why I had swapped from my previous therapist. I had already summarised this in my opening message which they clearly hadn't read. I replied with that initial message again. No response. By that Friday I gave up. I didn't feel like I had actually spoken to anyone yet. I asked for a refund. As I had been active for 2 weeks by that point they only refunded half the month, even though their therapists hadn't even really begun to speak to me as a person.

Amazing counseling, I would definitely recommend, this has been a great part of my healing journey.

The website has very considerate prices. Of course, I am not doing so well financially since I am of a young age, thus, it seemed from my perspective to be high-- but relatively speaking, it is very low when compared to others. And they are very considerate about those who are short, financially speaking. That they offered me a 40% discount on their prices. And I had a therapist whose schedule was often taken. I thought of informing the website about my situation: how I paid for a month, yet, I was only able to receive two sessions; and I did so. They calmly, respectfully, and quickly responded and extended my subscription two more weeks, and added the fact that if that was not enough, they would extend it even more. And if one is worried about the therapist they match you with, I could only give account from my own experience. And I could only say that she was tremendously excellent. She goes by the name Sara Creel. I made a review about her, so as to summarize my opinion of the therapist they matched me with: "Miss Creel is a therapist par excellence. She is the kind that is capable of building a rapport with her patience very quickly, so when one goes to her session, one would feel as if they were going to a very dear friend of theirs for a cup of coffee and comfortably express their latest difficulties." A website that I would recommend, strongly.

I'd never seen a therapist before, and I didn't really know where to start. I saw the ad and figured I'd at least try it. I got matched within two days and had my first session I think the day after, so I was very impressed with the timeline. The sessions are way too short though. They don't seem to advertise it, but the sessions are only 30 minutes long. Again, I'm not experienced with therapy, but it seems like sessions should be at least an hour. I'm also not convinced this platform is the long-term solution to therapy.

Therapist 1: Immediately questioned ADHD diagnosis. Talked endlessly. Asked zero questions. Therapist 2: Profile lists video chat; therapist actually only provides live chat Therapist 3: Pseudoscientific nonsense. Says ADHD is caused by “toxins” and “gluten” Therapist 4: Profile lists video chat; therapist actually only offers phone calls. Blamed me for my lack of success with the site. I loathe this site. It actually made me feel worse.
