I genuinely thought it was a scam until I tried it. It suits me because I have a job that makes regular therapy hours unworkable but the fact that betterhelp uses international therapists means that a 9pm call work for both the therapist and I. The Better Help Platform is very user friendly & thoughtfully created—which really does make a difference in online therapy. The therapist BetterHelp paired me with has changed my life in less than 1 month, and I am confident she will continue to bring value to me. I feel like the quiz BetterHelp provided didn’t a great job in matching me with the therapist I needed, and it’s great to know they understand how important it is to find the right therapist. In my small town in rural Appalachia, you have to leave city limits to find therapy at all, and many therapist in surrounding towns focus on addiction which is not my particular issue, I would realistically have to drive 2+ hours to find a non addiction focused therapist, and who knows how much further to find a therapist who specializes is my particular concern. I could not recommend BetterHelp enough.

The best review I can give is this about my therapist... Dr. Adeline McTavous has been such a blessing in my life. Without her I don't know where I would be at this point in my life. She has kept me grounded in ways that has helped me get out of a situation I thought I was lost in. She not only listens to everything I am going through, she helps give me guidance and direction when I need it most. I will forever be grateful for having been blessed to have Dr. Adeline McTavous as my therapist. The only reason I am able to stand strong in this time of my life is because of her. She reminds me, each time, to never forget who I am and my selfworth and that in itself keeps me pushing forward and to never give up. The peace of mind she has given me through her kindness, compassion and the way she listens, her guidance and understanding of my situation is what keeps me going and my spirt high. She is my savor, my light, my angel! I am forever grateful to have her!

So I found out about better help through Justin Bieber he had promoted this on his social platform and it was at the perfect timing. I really needed someone to talk to and everything else is just too expensive, my experience on this app has been great. I love it all you can schedule appointments with your therapist when you have time , you’re able to communicate with them through text too. Overall just a great experience
