Really appalled with my experience with BetterHelp. No way of properly searching or sorting therapists and the system automatically assigns random therapists to you, even though they are completely inappropriate for your needs. The whole experience is frustrating and distressing. Customer services are awful, refusing to answer basic questions and providing cut and paste responses, they may as well be bots! (maybe they are?) Certainly not the compassionate, human responses that I would expect from a service such as this. I have paid a fair amount of money, desperate for help and still, after several weeks am no closer to getting the help I require. Really a poor way to treat the vulnerable and desperate that have turned here for help!

It all started so well. They helped me find a great therapist easily. Then due to the therapist's holidays and other commitments and then I paused membership for my holiday. I couldn't get booked in for a week due to a lack of availability. You cant book in preparation for the membership re-starting. I am a week behind in the sessions I have paid for. They are now trying to charge me for having 2 sessions in 1 week.

Its great how it has grown as a platform in terms of quality over the years. Its very effective now in current form.

The ease of access is what made me get back into therapy and thank god because I could have ruined many aspects of my life if I had not found it. The price is very reasonable and the comfort of not having to drive somewhere for an appointment is very handy. I love that I got to do a survey to find the right therapist for me. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Vicky Kooner from BetterHelp worked with me to find a way to become less reactive in the face of triggers. I felt I had on control, and would blow up in the face if I felt attacked, misundersood, not wanted, or otherwise unsafe. And I couldn't find a way to stop the trigger happening, and make enough space to slow everything down, manage myself, and then deal with whatever there was to deal with. She was patient, insightful, compassionate and supportive. I felt safe enough to be completely open and do the work of practicing doing things another way - and it works. I'm really grateful to her for everything she's done and would not hesitate to go back if I find myself stuck with any unwanted feelings or behaviours in the future.

I love being able to seek therapy at my convenience and from the comfort of my own home. My therapist has been a Godsend. I’ve been in therapy for over 20 years and she is incredible. I urge everyone to check out the benefits of BetterHelp and tell everyone you know about it too!

My therapist first and foremost. The capability of virtual appointment and convenience is a huge deal. I don't feel like I'm not getting the full experience because it's virtual I think that it makes it so easy an accessible and feels less of inconvenience and more of tremendous opportunity to those who struggle to make it to inperson appointments
