I had a lot of doubts and was nervous about what to expect but I got matched to a very kind and patient therapist who has helped me realize the benefits more and more with every session. BetterHelp is also significantly more affordable than every other therapy outlet I have ever looked in to!

I like having access to a therapist from the comforts of my home. I also like that I can get the therapist based on my needs. The added bonus is group classes to get an academic understanding of our behaviors.

Betterhelp is an easy, accessible way of getting therapy for yourself. As a full time mommy i have no time to go out and look for a therapist and manage appointments. With betterhelp it is so easy and simple. They also offer sales for people who are struggling financially which is another load off of my plate. My therapist has been an angel, she is kind and understanding, an amazing professional. It really is worth the money and the time saved.

With the variety of ways to contact your therapist, and other services offered through the platform, it's easy to get the help you need. The initial sign up and getting started was quick and painless, which was crucial since I'd been trying to get a therapist through my Insurance for over 4 months and had to jump through many hoops, but with BetterHelp I was able to sign up and start talking to someone almost right away. I would highly recommend BetterHelp to anyone who needs some help navigating life, and doesn't have the time to wait for the red tape and paperwork that might be necessary through other avenues.

LinkedIn provided me with one month of free services when I signed up for a yearly subscription. I didn't think anything of it until recently when I was going through the additional benefits. I signed up, and although I had trepidations, I've now attended two sessions with the therapist with whom they paired me. She is empathetic and insightful and has provided me with real-world strategies for dealing with some recurring issues. With both web-based and app platforms, sessions are available by phone, over video, or even via chat, so no matter how I might be available, she is, too. There is also a DM (direct message) function that allows me to communicate with her whenever and wherever I might need support. She has been prompt and receptive through her messages and offers encouragement when I most need it. I still have two more free sessions available to me and will continue with my therapist through a paid plan for the foreseeable future. If you're looking for a cost-effective, simple way to access professional, registered therapists, I highly recommend BetterHelp.

I like that Betterhelp has an all access platform where you not only get live sessions with your therapist, but that you can participate in live workshops or talks with users going through similar things, and that they also have a journaling section. Their customer service is also responsive.

One can't search therapists based on their accreditation to respectable proffesional bodies. Most therapists seem just to be members of the BACP which is a low bar. Also customer service is very slow and not vey good quality.

Not recommended, You are charged $60 to 80 a week to talk with a therapist ONE time on a live session via chat, kinda seems like AI. and if you want to talk one more time you are charged an extra $20-25 for that. and then when you message your therapist it takes 2-4 days to get a reply and by the time you respond the week is over. So totally not worth it. and they wont refund me for a week that i paid where i only got to talk with the therapist one time for 30 minutes in the whole week because he was having a busy week and because the time change, not worth it. Lame service.
