Forty-minute sessions are not long…
Forty-minute sessions are not long enough for a conducive therapy session. My therapist was always 5 minutes late and looked burnt out. I have a therapist friend, and they said they are paid considerably below market value, so they see more clients than others in private practice. I suggest looking on UKCP or BACP websites and choosing a therapist yourself and talking to them before setting up sessions.

Thank you for your feedback, Hugh and we are sorry if you weren't happy with your experience. Sessions are typically 45 minutes in length, and if a therapist is late, they will often try to accommodate by going a bit longer to make up for that. Our Member Success Team is there to help if your current match isn't working out, and we'd like to see if we can turn this experience around for you. You can see from other reviews through Trustpilot and other sources that most members are able to find a therapist that can create a hugely positive impact on their situation. I am going to request the email address associated with your BetterHelp account, so we can speak further. You will receive a separate TrustPilot form shortly, so you can provide your contact information. Talk soon, BetterHelp Team
