This company was recommended via The Dr John Deloney YouTube videos I follow at home. After some turbulent changes in both personal and professional life I decided to give Better Help a go as previous face to face therapists didn't quite work well. I recognised it's because I was paired with the right person. Since joining Better Help this year in 6-7months my view on life, my thought processes, my expectations of myself and boundaries have all shifted to places I just couldn't get to over the years. I am 40 years old and finally relieving myself from plenty a burden. My therapist Ebi just just gets it every time we speak, her level of care to navigate me the positive way without making me feel awful about anything was life changing for me. I feel this has worked well and I continue to use Better Help, they've got the ground basics set up properly to pair me with the right therapist.

It was very easy to book a session, and I didn’t have to wait long. I was able to give preference on the type of counselor I hoped for and they delivered. Very impressed.

All of my therapy sessions were significantly shorter than the 30–45 minutes BetterHelp advertises—one even lasted just 12 minutes—yet I was still charged £50 for each. To make matters worse, my therapist didn’t show up for our first proper session, which was incredibly frustrating after taking the big step of starting therapy. The support I did receive was also very shallow, and the therapist would not go deeper on any of the talking points I suggested in the first session, only focusing on the one topic that was already solved and wasn't supposed to be the main point to talk about. I would absolutely not recommend this service.

I'm disappointed with my experience on BetterHelp. Because of a simple question I asked customer support, my subscription and all scheduled sessions were immediately canceled without any confirmation or follow-up to check if that was actually what I wanted. Later, customer service claimed, in a downtalking way, I had canceled two weeks earlier – even though I had messaged my therapist about an upcoming session on the same day. I should just buy subscription again. Right. Overall, a very unprofessional experience.

Absolutely recommend it for anybody who needs therapy or coaching at various stages in their lives. I returned twice within 5 years when I felt like I needed someone to talk. Both times, the therapist was able to help me tremendously to work through everything. Last year I worked with Helen and she really helped me to get from point A to point B with knowledge and patience effectively. I like that the online sessions are convenient and a good alternative to p2p therapy, which is not an option for my lifestyle.

I was matched the perfect therapist for me and have stayed with them throughout, building up a great sense of trust. It has been very easy to book or make changes to my sessions and there is a constant checklist to see your own progress as you move through therapy.

It is really nice to be able to schedule and talk online while taking a lunch break and Ben is pretty cool. Not what I expected and it makes me more comfortable and relaxed talking about things that’s been bothering me for years. Great resourceful tools to help with anxiety.

Not personal at all seems like it’s ai generated or something long messages typed out quicker than any human could in my opinion no personality at all can’t have a laugh with like talking to a robot also keeps saying we can look at options how to help you but it’s always next time even after having 4 sessions no progress and never leave off from last session also not asked any questions knows nothing about me how can you help someone you know nothing about
