I had a pleasant experience with their customer support team.

I've had three appointments with Berry Street, across one month. The platform lacks basic features like data export, and their team questioned why I’d want access to my own data. They also said I had $0 out of pocket, and that they verified my insurance, only to later find that they'd already filed two claims with my insurance resulting in over $300 in billing, due to their service only being covered after my deductible. This isn't the same with every service, and usually services verify this before you use the service. Their policy page, I've found, also says that the patient is responsible for verifying insurance, even thought they claim during sign up that they complete this for you. They also sent that email that claimed they'd verified my insurance only 3 minutes before my initial appointment. If they had said (correctly) that I needed to pay my deductible for their services to be affordable, then I would have been charged their $75 cancellation fee for a last minute cancellation. Their calorie counts are also inaccurate on many days that you log food in the journal. Adding food often decreases the total daily calorie sum, rather than increasing it. Their platform is also poorly designed, and logging food is tedious and frustrating due to their preference for an AI to process your entries, which I always have to go back and correct manually. I would not recommend them at all going forward.

I really liked my dietician but not the mistake in telling me they checked my insurance and all my sessions are covered. Then I received a bill for $450 for my three sessions because my insurance does NOT cover it. I contacted my dietician about it, who said she would follow up. That was one month ago and not a word back.

It’s a five 5 for my nutritionalist !! She is amazing Alexis Kelly. But as far as Berry Street, I give you a three maybe even less because you said I was covered by my insurance for three or four months and then when the new year happened, you said I wasn’t covered anymore. I have the best insurance in New Jersey from the state of New Jersey because I worked at a school and I’m denied. I don’t understand and now you’re telling me because of my Medicare. I’m also denied when I’m disabled and I need help with weight loss that’s crazy. I guess most insurances ARE NOT accepted.

I was surprised to find that my insurance covers Berry Street fully and so I decided to give it a try. I am working with Anett Kovacs, a dietician, and in a couple of months I have completely changed my lifestyle, outlook on nutrition, and diet. I've lost a significant amount of weight without the typical restriction and possible malnutrition that comes with that. I recommend Berry Street and very highly recommend Anett, she's amazing. I've learned so much from her, even though I'm a registered nurse and know quite a bit about nutrition already.

The insurance checks have been accurate, which is the biggest pleasant surprise for me—I thought surely this would be a scam or that they would say I was covered in error. But everything has been easy, user-friendly, and accurate so far! My dietitian, Anett Kovacs, is incredible. She is easy to talk to and work with, and she gently holds me accountable while being compassionate about life’s circumstances. She answers all of my questions and is super knowledgeable. I’ve learned so much in just a few weeks of working with her and my nutrition habits have improved tremendously (and so has the way I feel from the inside out!)

Highly disappointed in this app. I scheduled a 3:30pm appt. I was notified that my appt was at 3:30AM and it was EST which was actually 4:30AM. That was not what I scheduled and why would that even be an available time. Not only that, I cannot choose my new dietician and I am just given one option that is not a good fit for me. Customer service has not been much help. I waited forever and had everything ready for my appt.
