2 faulty masks later...
Second Update: Now they have responded that they were not correct about exceeding the 60 days, and they are sending a third mask. I will update this post when/if the third mask arrives. Update: Though they promised to send a 3rd mask (after the 1st 2 were faulty), the mask never arrived. So I followed up several times, and was most recently told by one of their friendly customer service reps that I was past the 60 day return period. Well, that all depends when the clock begins ticking. I didn't receive my first mask until a month after I ordered it. We shall see what they say next. It takes so long for each mask to arrive that it's easy to reach that 60 day mark and still have never received a mask that works! This is what happened with me, and it looks like others have had the same experience. We're all desperate for a product that works, so we're willing to put up with BS. Well, take my word for it: this product doesn't work. Look elsewhere for a solution. I suspect the positive reviews here are either fake, or from people with much lower expectations than most of us. Don't buy from this company. They not only sell poor quality products, their policies and practices are dishonest. Original Review: I ordered my initial mask in June. First of all, it took a month to arrive. It never worked properly – didn’t heat, didn't fit my face, dripped water, and came with conflicting instructions. After weeks of correspondence back and forth a representative offered to send a second, "new and improved" mask. This experience (reported by numerous customers besides me) begs the question, if they have a "new and improved" mask why send the poorly designed version first? While the design of the 2nd mask was definitely an improvement and it came with clearer instructions, it did not work correctly either. Only one side heated up and delivered luke warm mist. The other generated cool mist. Other customers also reported this problem in their second mask. After asking me to send a video of the problem, which I did, the customer service rep offered to send a third mask a month ago. So far it has not arrived, and correspondence has been minimal. They respond if I contact them, but there was no follow through on their offer to check and get back to me on when the third mask might be sent. I feel like the video requirement was just a stalling mechanism. The customer service agents are friendly and helpful. Perhaps they're AI bots. Their responses are strikingly similar. At this point I feel that even if they're human, the friendly "support" is just manipulation. While the idea of a steam mask seems like it could help with dry eyes, the masks Beminda sells don’t heat enough to “melt” clogged oil glands. They're also packaged so poorly that it's hard to believe that the company is at all serious about their products. Both boxes arrived dented, with woefully insufficient exterior packaging. The masks are shipped from China. Did they work prior to careless shipping? Who knows. Following the lead of other reviewers here, I looked online and found both supposed "Beminda" mask designs on Amazon for half the price or less. While their name is on the box, it is nowhere to be found on either mask. It appears they aren't even designing these masks (which they imply in their customer support responses), but buying them cheaply elsewhere, slapping their name on a box, and reselling them for twice the price. This is just plain dishonest. I have asked for an update or refund. Whether they provide one or not, three and a half months and 2 faulty masks later, I resent the wasted time and being strung along like this. Who needs the hassle? Save yourself the wasted money and frustration and steer clear. This is not an honest company.

Hi Valerie, You're right about the 60 days, and we're sorry one of our replies said otherwise. You spent most of that time waiting on deliveries and replacements, so the clock was never fair to you. Your third mask is on its way, and we'll stay on this until you have one that works properly. Your feedback on packaging has gone to our fulfillment team. A dented box is not how anyone should receive a product they've been waiting weeks for. A few points on the device, for you and for anyone reading. The Steam Therapy Pro uses ultrasonic warm mist at around 40 to 42°C. It's a gentle warmth, not a hot compress. Mist that's weaker or cooler on one side usually comes from residue on that side's atomizer. When the new mask arrives, mix the Eye Hydration Complex with water (about 1 part Complex to 4 parts water) and keep the atomizers clean with the small brush in the box. Both make a noticeable difference to output. On the Amazon listings: we only sell through beminda.com, and we can't vouch for units sold anywhere else. If anything is still off once the third mask arrives, email us at [email protected] and we'll sort it out properly. The Beminda Team
