THURROCK LAKESIDE Bella Italia. Was excited for a pasta dish. Wasn’t much option considering I didn’t want meat that night. Ended up just getting spaghetti in a ‘rich tomato’ sauce. With this I expected a thick sauce and loads of flavour. INSTEAD I got warm spaghetti in a watery flavourless tomato sauce which tasted like it was from a can🤢 Wish we listened to a man walking out of the restaurant with his family when we were waiting to be seated when he told us ‘don’t bother the service is slow and rude. We have waited an hour for our starter so we’re leaving’... However, the service was slow but not to make anyone annoyed if the food was nice. The only good thing was the starter... we had flatbread haha very hard to get wrong. We will not be returning.

Bristol Baldwin Street, Looking forward to pasta dish, came out in a watery runny sauce, no taste, luke warm glad I didn't have cheese as man grated it onto a meal next to me with his bare hands no gloves on... have had better from Asda MW Meal. Husband had chicken, sweet potato fries counted about 12 thin chips, chicken tasted like you would have grilled at home, for approx £13.00 a pop wish we had gone to McDonalds. Will never go back and definitely would not recommend.

Bella Italia Grafton Centre, Cambridge: Simply horrified by staff and food quality.....there in nothing of Italy in there. My wife and I ordered 4 mains, 2 pasta and 2 steaks, we waited 30 min and they brought us the 4 meals at the same time...What!?! The 2 pasta meals were uneatable and the steaks cold, dry and hard like stones. The staff was really unpleasant, even more than the food. The best part: the tap water my wife ordered.....even the wine I had was bad......don't call yourself bella Italia, you have no idea of what italian food is like!

I don't normally dine at Bella Italia but stopped off at their branch on The Strand, WC2 for lunch. I usually eat at one of their competitors but was pleasantly surprised. Food was very good although initially, service a tad sluggish but that appeared to be as a result of reduced staffing levels. Service was efficient and the waitress was nice enough but did not engage with us and the service was a tad 'Cold and robotic'. Just a bit of advice to Bella Italia HO - emcourage your staff to engage and show off their personality. One other suggestion but you have a sign that says Toilet downstairs/more seating. You may want to rethink that one!

Went to Bella Italia at the Metro Centre for the first time today....and it will be my last. I ordered a chicken burger & chips and when I bit into it the chicken was lovely but had obviously been on the pass for too long and was cold. I asked for it to be heated up but was told that another would be cooked straight away.... excellent I thought. Unfortunately the chef obviously takes criticism very badly as when the next burger came out it was so over cooked it was as dry as sticks and all around the edge if the burger was inedible as it was rock solid. Will definitely not be going back. Huge disappointment!

Brilliant works Christmas lunch at the Orpington restaurant. Food absolutely delicious & service was amazing, especially as there were 22 of us! Felt very well looked after & would definitely recommend 👍
