Worst insurance company, when you add new driver they double the premium and force you to take or cancel your policy ( and charge cancellation fee without even mentioned you ) very rigid no matter how long you being loyal customer. With new company is only 15-20% increase in premium for adding new driver.

Where to start..i have been a loyal customer for over 20 years-no issues and great rates compared to other companies.No idea what went wrong except being greedy..my vehicles are a 2022 and 2023..3 years ago my mazda was 1300 now 1625 a year-no claims tickets or accidents..my home ins went up 400 this year again zero claims..all total im paying 4795.00 a year!! Its gone beyond stupid-too bad we arent like out west-if your good your rates are based on your record-same with bad-you pay more.I dont live in a big city or a small one-im rural..so dont tell me im grouped in with them. Talked to a friend of mine who said to try youset.ca-insurance brokers..in 2 hours i have all new insurance and belair is no longer existing to me. My 2023 cx50 mazda turbo-1120.00 a year..my 2023 ram rebel is 1430.00 a year and my house is 1300.00 all with the same coverage..compare that to 1625 for my mazda.1700 for my truck and 1450 for my house..im saving 915 a year-and can pick the coverage i want..shop around as belair doesnt care about loyalty its about $$$$$ they can grab from you

They were a cheap option but have a very unethical practice of renewals that does not comply with BC Consumer Protections Act which does not allow auto renewals that is 1 year and beyond without the consent of the individual. In this case they auto renew my home insurance for 2 years, even though they even mentioned in their emails if I do not confirm the renewal, that it will be cancelled (an email communication). And then after that they sent it to collections.

I got one quote online for auto only. When I phoned, they kept telling me the price was for auto and house. I have the quoted price emailed and screenshoted. I don't know why they would lie about the pricing when it's a potential new customer.

I guess its a new thing that this is one of the insurance company that dont give too sh*ts about customes iddenty i had went to get insurance with another companysince i have not hwd no vehicle for 9 years under my name that i owned my self .I called insurance companyto get insurance and wad told im put im payment default with this company ..To my surprised i ws confused and completely unaware of this i have been a victim of fraud i called these guys to tell them that i need help ive been a victim of identity fraud i didnt flget Insurance with them and i want a manager to call me still its been almost a Month and no call returned BEWARE

I spent over 40 minutes on the phone with a sales rep to get a quote on insuring my automobile and my house. The quote for my vehicle was reasonable but when it came to quoting on my house, I was told they would not insure it because it has cedar siding. Of course without the house included in the package, the premium for just my vehicle was ridiculous. All in all, I spent way too much time for absolutely nothing. Moral of the story is, before you waste your time, if you call them for a quote on your home and auto, ask them to quote on the house first. If they won't cover your house, the premium on your auto will be very expensive by comparison.

Receive my new policy. I found a better rate ($1000 less from another company). They took my payment for April so I paid for a full month. They will not refund the over payment and will charge me a cancellation fee. DO NOT patronage these lying thieving shysters!!!!! They DO NOT deserve 1 star they deserve -10.

Be careful where you have bundled your home and auto insurance. They may save you in one area but gouge you in another. Also they cant provideyou with actual savings from your auto merit program, they say its psoitive but cant give you the appropiate discounts.
