I rarely write reviews, but after speaking with Janice at Belairdirect, I felt I had to. I found out my home insurance policy had been cancelled after what became a perfect storm of a bank error, crossed wires, and a misunderstanding about my payment. I had already spoken with an online chat representative who gave me no hope and directed me to a sister insurance company to apply for a new policy. I was devastated and honestly felt sick thinking about what this could mean for my family. Then I called and got Janice. From the very beginning, she treated me like a person instead of just another policy number. She listened to my entire situation without judgment and understood that this wasn’t a case of someone simply ignoring their payments. It was an unfortunate series of events that spiraled into something much bigger than it ever should have. Instead of taking the easy route and telling me there was nothing that could be done, Janice took the time to investigate further. She spoke with her supervisors, advocated for me, and genuinely wanted to see if there was a way to help. Throughout the call she was kind, compassionate, reassuring, and even shared a few laughs with me. At one point I joked that maybe I shouldn’t cook dinner that night just in case I accidentally set the house on fire without insurance, and she laughed with me. That small moment of kindness meant more than she probably realizes because she helped ease what had been one of the most stressful days I’ve had in a long time. When she came back and told me my policy could be reinstated, she sounded just as excited and relieved as I was. You could tell she genuinely cared about the outcome, and that is incredibly rare. Janice didn’t have to go the extra mile, but she did. Because of her persistence, compassion, and willingness to look deeper instead of accepting the first answer, she saved my family from what felt like an absolute nightmare. Belairdirect is incredibly fortunate to have someone like Janice representing your company. I was looking for insurance for a new vehicle and it was also my first time doing so. Rishma did an absolutely amazing job on what would be best for me. She was extremely helpful. She was looking at different ways we could set up the policy to give me the best premium possible. She explained everything super clearly and was just overall super lovely to work with throughout the whole process.

Never having made a claim for a car accident, and in a state of confusion, I had no idea what to do. Each person I dealt with guided me through the procedure. Before I left the accident scene I was told a rental car had been arranged for me and when I went to pick it up it was ready for me. My car was totaled. I had a flat tire on a snowy January Saturday night in a small town. I called roadside assistance and the response was immediate. Within an hour a tow truck arrived from the nearest location, a kind and helpful man changed my tire and I was on my way home. I'm an elderly woman who was alone, so I felt great relief that the solution to my problem was so easy to access. I highly recommend this service.
