Great bikes, great service. Just what I was looking for. I liked my bike so much I bought one for my wife too.

Fast and friendly

Upon arrival, the bike had minor damages and I immediately called the company. After sending them pictures and videos the day after I received it, they told me to take the bike to a shop to true the wheels and they would reimburse me; they would send me handlebars to replace the ones that arrived damaged and pay to have them installed; and send me the decals that they forgot to put on. I did the items on my end and sent them the receipts for $50 for fixing the wheels. Since then, I have never heard back from them or received anything in the mail.. I called them back and they said they would take care of it and never did. As such, I've decided to write it off and just keep the bike as is as I have better things to do with my time. So how is the bike? It feels like a decent used bike, which is a bit frustrating as I purchased a brand new customized bike. In addition to the problem with the wheels not being true, the decals missing and the handlebars being damaged, the bike was never tuned and I had to install the back rack myself, which I ordered as part of the overall package. In addition to truing the wheels, I paid my local bike shop to get the hub right and tighten various nuts and bolts that were loose. It's as though the bike was put together by my 10 year old. So no, I definitely would not buy another bike from them and am generally disappointed with the experience and product

My bike arrived on time and everything was there and it was exactly as I pictured it in my head. If I was forced to criticize anything it would only be I might have liked some better pictures of the assembly process in the instructions. A few times I couldn't tell exactly what was meant BUT all the really hard parts were already done from the factory so it didn't take long to figure these few small things out. I believe the instructions were written for a bike with only a rear fender and I had a front fender too so that part got less attention. But that's is also the beauty of a bike shop that allows you to customize just about everything - in the end I figured it out and got everything I was hoping for. I hadn't ridden a bike in almost 40 years but now, thanks to Beach Bikes, I can once again experience the wind through what's left of my hair and the satisfaction of getting exercise the way I want.

Best bikes for casual riding. No sprocket gears to maintain, no brake cables to maintain, and no uneven or dragging brake pads. Shifter-in-the-hub and coaster brakes are the way to go. So many of us are not "serious" bikers, and have been sold a bill of goods we don't need or want. Also, comfortable seats.

Bikes went missing, arrived broken & missing parts, & were weeks and weeks late. I’d NEVER recommend

Very nice experience. They are willing to help and replace parts without a surcharge. (I wanted different handle bar). A seat broke after months and they shipped a new one without any questions. They were not fast responsive, but redeemed themselves very generously with a store credit money. They proof, that they are honest and that they care.
