So far I'm very impressed with this alarm system and it's monitoring company. We have had absolutely no issues from the initial order to hooking the system up. So simple. We recently ran a test and call went through within seconds and the person who spoke to us came through loud and clear. Called customer service line with a question and they too were a pleasure.

I think Bay delayed a bit before notifying the medics. When I fell down the medics did not arrive at the side door per my instructions and delayed ten minutes at the front door. Did Bay not clarify where the house keys were to be found?

I have had excellent experience with Bay Alarm Medical so far and I would to continue as long as I need the alarm system.

I ordered the GPS for my Aunt and Mother....not easy to remove from holder and directions on how to use are not easy for elder people to comprehend. AND the directions print is SO small you need a manifiy glass to read.

After having my system completely specified and input into the Bay Alarm Medical spreadsheet or quote. I agreed to everything and added the shipping and payment information before saying I had my credit card in hand and was ready to finalize everything. I then was informed I had to be turned over to a care consultant who would call me. Anyway, it is 48 hours later and I am still waiting for that call. Upon going to the Bay Alarm Medical web site, I was asked if I wanted to chat and the care consultant tried every way to come up with a reason they had not called. Yes there a wrong number but when asked why they had not at least given me an email reply, I did not get an answer. The quote discussed above was sent to her and then we were disconnected or the chat was closed. In my opinion, I know two care consultants who are not doing their job or at least in my situation they are not performing well in their job description per title of care consultant. What will it be like after the system is up and running or do I jump ship now?

Wasn't sure about really needing this service, but after having it for a while now I can leave the house knowing that my wife is secure in the home. We haven't needed it in an emergency so far, but when it has been activated they have answered prompt and professional asking if we are safe as well as making sure its us. It also means that if something happens I can take care of her instead of calling for help.

We got off to a challenging start with setup as we did not realize that since our elderly mom lived in a community with digits required for an outside line that special equipment was required. Bay Alarm did mail out the replacement device quickly and in less than a week we were up and running. This device has provided a level of security and confidence for our 94 yr old mom that has made her desire to live independently a reality. She no longer worries about "something" happening during the day. It also covers her in the stairwell near her apartment which she uses several times each day to go the one floor to the main level of her building. Even if she never needs to use the call button she is so much more confident that it is well worth the money spent.
