I researched many medical alert devices for my mother. Bay Alarm Medical kept coming up as the best value for the money. I called the company and had excellent customer service and purchased the service which included one additional emergency button for my mothers bathtub. When the items arrived they were easy to set up and they tested perfectly. The thing I really love about the devices is there is no need to charge batteries. The battery life is 5 years and the company will notify you if it is getting low and send you a replacement.

I would have given 5 stars, except there was some confusion in the beginning regarding the pendant. We were told it wasn't recommended to be worn in the shower, after 2 phone calls it was cleared up for us. It is meant to be worn in the shower, as we were originally told. We have had 1 instance to use it, and it worked perfectly.

Everyone I have talked with is very friendly and professional. My mother wanted the basic unit and they provided that without any high pitch sales pressure. The unit came quickly and could not have been easier to install. When testing the unit, the call service answered within 30 seconds. The call service personnel were all very friendly. Bay Alarm provides excellent service at a good price. I highly recommend them. I don’t think paying more money to another company would get better service.
