Be vary concerned about getting batteries rebuilt here. I had three Makita batteries rebuilt and put them with the miter box and placed them in storage. A year later I used the tool and one of the batteries would not charge and i took it to the store on Colerain. Because the service was done over a year they charged me 40.00 to fix their mistake. The tech said they found a loose tab inside so to me it wasn't secured. Properly. I've purchased three truck batteries last year and a jumper box for almost 200.00 so I guess this doesn't mean anything. You would think Batteries Plus would want to make their mistake right but I'll have to find a better more responsible place to get batteries and work done.

Placed an order online for same day pick up. Would have just ordered it on Amazon but I figured if I could get the item same day I cpuld install it over the weekend. As i was driving to the store I had it scheduled to pick it up at I received a call feom the store stating that they don't have the item in stock and it would be a week before it was in. I asked if any other stores have it in stock and I was told no as it is a specialty item. I asked why when orderimng it online it wouldn't indicate it is not in stock or give me a date that it would arrive at the store and I was told by the person on the phone that the website says to call the store to verify it is in stock before ordering it. I told them I will just order it on Amazon and asked if they could credit my crrdit card. I was told that I have to come to the store to have my card credited. Ao as I continue to drive out of my way to the store to get my charge refunded I received another call from the store from a different employee to let me know that the item I ordered was not in stock and that it would be 2 weeks before they could have it in the store. I explained I already received a call and told them I will purchase the item elsewhere and that I just want a refund to my card. I asked again if the could issue the refund without me coming in as it seems like they should be able to and again told that I have to come in to get a refund. So I continued to drive to the store. When I arrived the store owner was there and I explained I was there to get a credit issued to my card to which he told me they don't do at the store and that he will "decline" my order which will initiate a credit to my card. He did apologize that his staff incorrectly informed about how to get a credit issued. My main issues with this experience is 1) B+Bs online system and that it doesn't in anyway state whether things I was ordering are in stock. Most websites will at least identify if there is "limited availability". This is especially frustrating since the store employees indicated no stores carry what I was ordering as it is a special order item. B+B ahould at the very least identify apecial order items on thwir website. 2) That I had to apend 50 minutes if my time driving to and from the store to get a refund that I was told by two different employees that I needed to drive to the store to get a refund and then when I arrived I was told they din't donthe refunds at the store. The hour of time I wasted was qorth more then the item I was buying. Lesson learned just order it on Amazon. I literally copied the item name from the B+B website pasted it in Amazon and swioed "buy now" while I sat at a light driving to B+B for my refund.

Messed up my phone doing a battery replacement. Ft Smith AR location. Do not let them work on your phone. They will mess it up.

Today was my first and LAST visit to Batteries+Bulbs based on the lack of customer service I DIDN'T receive today...I went in with a pocket/keychain garage door opener that probably needed a new battery. I am a 72 year old senior citizen and my dexterity is not the best so I asked for the battery size indicated on the opener case and was told they only come in a 2-pack (of course) for $7. Of note, when I entered the store, the TWO employees were sitting in a corner laughing over something on one of their telephones...I hated to disturb them but as I said, I probably needed a battery. I asked if, since they were NOT busy and there were no other customers, they would kindly install the small battery for me. I was quickly told "Sure, that will be a TEN DOLLAR CHARGE!!!" I seriously thought the guy was joking but he said "THAT is what we charge." I looked at the bottom of the receipt for a feedback address and when I entered it - Sorry, that site is unavailable! All-in-all, pretty sad and as I said - our last time we will visit there!

Very good customer service and they had my phone ready in less than an hour!

Key Fob. My orevious one lasted 18 yrs. The one bought here only lasted 2 years. They were unwilling to make it right.They said it would cost $40.00 for a replacement outer casting. Probably cost $1.00 to make and they probably bought it for $2.00. They must think their customers are stupid. We aren't. THEY ARE. I bought exactly what I need on Amazon for $5.95. Spread the word. They lost a valued customer and many referrals.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We got a battery for a motorcycle and while shopping for the battery the guy helping us went to get the Duracell brand so we could compare the two brands. While he went to get the Duracell off the shelf the “Manager” sold the battery we had on the counter to someone else and proceeded to tell us that if we wanted it we would have to wait while they charged/filled a new one. Well obviously now we have to pay more for the battery or wait for god knows how long for the other one, so we got the more expensive one (should have been the red flag that made us walk away to begin with!). Two weeks later (to the day) when we went to use it and it was completely dead. We tried to charge it and it wouldn’t hold any charge (Like was at 12 when we left the house from having it on a charger to 8 when we got to the store 15 minutes later). So we did what anyone would do, we went back to the store to return it. The manager stated we had to leave it with them for 24 to 48 hours to have it stay on a charger to be tested first. 3 days later we finally get a call (as they are closing) and they stated the battery failed the tests and we will have to wait another 3 days for it to arrive from a store that is maybe 30 mins further out then the store we went to, but we can go get it ourselves if we don’t want to wait, yeah great customer service! Finally 4 days after they stated they would have the new battery in (so 7 days after we took it in) we finally get a call that we can come get it the day after. So we go in to pick it up and they tell us “oh well there aren’t any notes in the file so I will have to test the original battery to know how to notate the file.” Then after testing it he says “We won’t be giving you the new battery as this one tests fine.” At this point I am done and ask for the manager who ended up giving us the new battery, but stated “Well I’m just going to give it to you as I will get my money back on the battery either way.” This store is in Chesterfield County Virginia on Midlothian Turnpike. I will never purchase anything from this store ever again, and from reading the other posts I will not shop at any franchised location. Just a bunch of crooks who sell crap batteries. My next step will be to contact Duracell who is the maker of the battery if this one has the same issue as the manager then stated “We will not replace it again even tho you still have 11 months on the warranty.”

I had Batteries and bulbs at 1604/Redland Road replace a battery in my iPad Air. About 7 months later the iPad started “acting up” again with the battery doing the exact same draining dance it had been before Batteries and Bulbs repaired it and charged me $90. I called today and was told by Cody, I’m guessing he’s the same Cody that helped me in May; that Batteries and Bulbs only provides a 6 month warranty on their work. He basically said sorry bud, you’re out of warranty. I’m giving one star for a crappy company that does not stand behind their work. I would not buy any battery, for any device from this company ever again and I recommend you get your batteries and bulbs elsewhere!
