The auxiliary battery (Start/Stop Support) on my Volvo died. I called the Volvo dealership and the battery cost $93.50, but the Service Dept never called back for an install appointment, so I went to BatteriesPlus as they say they install for free. Their price for the battery was $119, but then they said they would not install for free - saying the install for that battery was too complicated and would take 55 minutes. I ordered the battery and it was supposed to be in store on a Thursday and that they would call me. No call on Thurs, so I called on Friday. At first they said No, they had not received the battery, but when I questioned that, they said, Oh, here it is. I asked again about the install but they repeated there would be a charge. I told them it was only 4 screws and a only 10 minute job. They said they have to charge. I went to the store, got the new battery and installed it myself in their parking lot. Seems like I paid $27 dollars too much and got crappy service. Should have stayed with the dealership.

Purchased a new battery for my phone and it was still overheating and not holding a charge. Staff was pleasant but I would still not shop here again due to poor merchandise sold.

They were kind and helpful, but unfortunately, I did not realize it was not an Apple brand I phone battery. I replaced my 12 mini battery bc it was showing decreased battery life and only lasted 12 hours. Now this “new”battery only lasts 6 hours when not in use. And of course my phone won’t recognize it to tell me battery health. Def not 100%. All background updates off, Siri off, low brightness, etc. Big mistake. 6 month warranty useless since doesn’t work already, and now to trade in for a new phone, I have a knock off battery.

Been buying car batteries for many years however they refused to replace my last two batteries under warranty. Seems to me they are going out of of there way to weasel out of there end of the bargain. Time for me to move on

Sent my wife there because I knew they would have a Car Starter Battery & might even help her change it. They not only sold her the $.50 battery, they also sold her on the idea that for a low low price of $21 it could be warranted for life. What a SCAM

Bought 6 6v batteries for my golf cart that were advertised as 215Ah for $144.95 each. Once I picked up the batteries and drove the 1-1/2 to put batteries in golf cart, I realized that these were only 210Ah not 215Ah. Checked my receipt, and website to make sure I wasn't given the wrong ones. Nope, part numbers matched. So they are advertising a 215Ah battery but giving you a 210Ah one instead. Doesn't sound like much, but Ah rating are how batteries are priced. Imaging paying for High grade gas, but getting low grade. Sure, it will work but you paid for a better product and got a lesser one instead. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. Won't be going back!

Upon arrival to the store location 5010 North High Columbus we were greeted in a respectful manner how can we help you? I proceeded to let them know I had called the store previously and inquired about a car battery, I then also let the gentleman know I had already purchased online but we wanted to have our battery checked first like they said they would do. So we proceeded to go out to the car where he checked the battery, and the test prove that it was needed, I asked how did he know and he told us that it was only putting out 400 CCA and this was a 690 CCA , but it was bought back in 2015 which was purchased at this very store, he just was not very talkative or friendly at all and the look on his face was not one that you wanted to approach. So I asked him if he was having a bad day or if another customer had given him a bad time and he said no ma'am so I said well you look like you're pretty put off and he still had that demeaning look like he just didn't want to be bothered with anyone any customer that is. So after he completed his task and put in the new battery because we ended up needing a new one, It had already been purchased online then it was installed and we left. Needless to say this was not a good first impression of this employee. This is why the rating is only two stars.

Ordered a key FOB for my Silverado online. The image on their website shows a FOB exactly like the one that came with my truck, with chrome trimmed edges. The replacement FOB they sent does not have the chrome trim. The part that was sent is not match to the photo on Batteries Plus Bulbs website. That is false advertising!!! I feel like I was cheated. I feel like B+B owes me the chrome parts that are shown in their online photo of their product. On the positive - the programming was quick, less than 10 minutes. The FOB works perfectly.
