My wife and I were at our breaking point. Our 9 mo old had a huge nurse to sleep crutch and nothing we did was breaking her out of the cycle. Also, as a first time dad, I felt completely cut out and disconnected when it came to bedtime/nap time. Like many familys, we tried DIY sleep training and quickly failed. We then hired a highly recommended Palo Alto based sleep consultant and miserably failed (baby lost .5lb, lost voice, severely traumatized and wouldn’t go near the crib). We inevitably gave up hope, I magivered a sidecar bed and my wife decided to cosleep for eternity....that is...until we found Batelle and Miss Megan. Sceptical, nervouse, sleep deprived, hopeless, and 2020’d...we hopped on our initial call with Miss Megan. 5min into the call we knew - this was the person that will 100% help our baby. We were lucky enough to personally meet her and couldn’t believe the wisdom and decades of life experience in her. The Miss Megan method was a breath of fresh air, she truly developed something novel, something that works, and something that is guaranteed to work (unheard off from other sleep consultants). We were fortunate enough to slide in and book a training slot (I would not be surprised if the waitlist grows exponentially). The Batelle team was all hands on deck, prepping us, providing seamless training sessions and chats even before everything kicked off (somthing that goes a loooong way if your a first time parent). We really got the white glove treatment through and through. It was everything we wanted and more - high touch communication, much needed emotional support and the knowledge that Miss Megan and the team is always there for us made us feel confident and fully primed to start the process. Never did we feel like this was transactional... the Batelle crew was hole heartedly dedicated to helping our baby and helping my wife and I. Don’t take this lightly, there is some serious secret sauce in play here. Every step we did in the process felt natural, comfortable, and we did not for a second feel that our baby was uncomfortable in anyway. The bottom line: It worked...it worked fast...It continues to work. Honestly, never in a million years did we think our little girl would take to any type of sleep training...this was true “sleep teaching” and creating a strong foundation for her pediatric development. Forever grateful!

Background - My baby was the epitome of a high-needs velcro baby that screamed all day long. We had no life and suffered back problems from sitting on the recliner the whole day rocking/nursing the baby to sleep for the first 4 months. It was so bad that we even had to take him with us to the bathroom! I was losing my mind hearing him cry all day. I'm so thankful to have found Batelle because never in a million years would I have thought that my extreme velcro crier can sleep by himself through the night for 12 hours without needing intervention! The whole program helped me put my baby on a customized schedule and helped my baby practice self-regulation, which is an extreme important skill that extends even into the adult life. I have noticed that he is much calmer and is okay with being by himself! He also is fine with car rides and strollers walks and even falls asleep in them! Batelle sleep school is essentially 2 weeks of 24/7 chat support, which was amazing for my sanity to have someone respond and help me calm down for those rough middle of the night wakings. The actual training starts at 6 months but they have a program called Batelle Babies that helps younger babies set some foundations to help fast track sleep school! The whole support team at Batelle was so patient and understanding, I was very appreciative. I felt like I had a big extended family at my back! <3 Big shoutout to Emily from Batelle Babies - she was super knowledgable and provided such amazing support, she got me through a very rough time and kept me focused the whole time! My baby made so much progress and breezed through the 2 weeks of sleep school! Moreover, you have chat support up until your baby is 5 years and they respond within a day so you never feel like you're on your own.

I have 11 children. I have spent the last 24 years dealing with children sleep issues and it wasn’t until last December that I finally found something that is gentle, consistent, and works. It is expensive! 1,500$ BUT you get 2 weeks of learning intensive sleep school with 24/7 support, followed by text support during business hours until baby turns 6years old. The continuous support is one thing that sets this apart from other help methods out there. I had already tried co-sleeping for the first 8 kids and know it’s pitfalls. I no longer wanted that default. With baby 9 we used the baby sleep site. I used the free services to create my own plan and it worked well. With baby 10 I purchased a personalized sleep plan through the same site. It didn’t work. He just cried or would start sleeping but any little interruption would reverse the progress. And after 2 weeks of email support, you have to keep paying for more help. Then I saw an add on Facebook for something called “my baby can sleep”. They had a “money back guarantee” so I figured there was nothing to lose. It promised more in person support with Facebook live calls once a month. When I started working through the videos I learned it was just a very heartless cry it out method. No check and console. And it was rooted in incorrect information about baby sleep. So I decided to exercise the money back guarantee. Only to find out that what they didn’t say up front before purchase, was that you had to follow all their method for at least a month and then if baby wasn’t sleeping, you could ask for your money back and they would decide whether or not you had followed all the rules and were allowed to get your money back. Completely unethical business practice. I got my credit card company involved and got my money back. With baby 11 I tried the sleep lady method, also didn’t work. It was a kind of check and console program with gradually moving yourself further away from baby every few days. I worked on this consistently for 4 months. My baby just cried. Sometimes for hours. No matter how close I was to him. Right next to the bed was not close enough. I went back to co-sleeping. Or should I say not sleeping. When I heard about Batelle, I read every review I could find. Then I scheduled a call with support and asked a lot about the method. My questions were so specific that the customer service agent scheduled a call with the founder Miss Megan. I spoke with her for a half an hour asking questions to get an idea if I was just going to be taught the same things I had already done that were ineffective. I also asked for their guarantee in writing which they gave without hesitation. It is simple: if after the two week training you are unsatisfied and don’t want to keep working with the team to help your baby sleep, they will give you your money back. With this, I felt I had nothing to lose but more sleep. When I told my husband about it he said “I must be really desperate if I’m willing to spend 1,500$ but if it works it will be worth every penny.” We took the plunge. It has changed our world. I finally know how to get my kids to sleep, be consistent, but respond to them so they trust me and their bed and will choose sleep. It is a process of helping the child learn to self regulate using consistent responses and routines. It helps you create a feeling of happiness and safety associated with their bed and trust that they are always being watched on their monitor so that they choose to sleep. When I have run into a sleep regression or illness, or nap transitions, I could text and get a response within 24 hours on business days. That is invaluable to me, children change so quickly in the first 5 years, it is nice to have an expert in my back pocket. When we went through a sleep regression and I was asking a lot of questions, they had me go back into sleep school for the last 4 steps to get the 24/7 support again. This helped me solidify my responses and consistency and gave me the extra support to ask more questions and get help immediately if needed. The customer service is amazing and the method is awesome, I recommend it to everyone. You truly have nothing to lose but more sleep

All the sleep school crew is/was so kind and helpful. They motivated me to be confident every night. I was skeptical at first because my baby was sleeping in our bed with what felt like HUNDREDS of wake ups but now I put him in HIS room and he is fast asleep within minutes with little to no interaction needed. I am SO thankful for Batelle!!! Definitely worth every last penny and it’s all info you can take with you for your next child!

Batelle sleep school is everything it promises to be. Yes, its a lot of work and the first night was intense to put it lightly. But once we got over that first step, it was simply amazing seeing our baby's progess every day. We were actually shocked how fast he just went with it. The method itself is so loving, our son was never left to cry it out. He just learned that his bed was safe and sleep is something wonderful he can choose to do without being rocked or fed (which we had to do every night for the last 8 months). We were coached by kind and professional experts every step of the way. We had a setback on day 10 due to teething and they took so much time to work with us individually, especially the wonderful Polly. You have to commit 100% and trust the process, even if it sounds strange at first, and you will end up with a baby that can fall asleep peacefully and sleep through the night just like our Milo ❤

Casey is always available for post program advice and check ins if my son ever has a sleep regression. I highly recommend if you are having any sleep struggles with your little one.
