You owe it to yourself to try this!
Our son was an excellent sleeper until back-to-back-back ear infections, ear tubes surgery, and a family vacation with a shared sleeping space at 18 months old derailed his sleeping habits. Once we realized this problem was not going to fix itself, we tried many methods to help him re-learn to sleep all night and go to bed without a fight. Private sleep coaches, psychiatrist evaluations to be sure we weren't "missing something," talking with the pediatrician, co-sleeping, cry-it-out, Ferber, books, podcasts, blogs, advice from friends, you name it. We were desperate, especially with a new baby coming into the house. I came across Batelle late one night around the time my son turned 27 months old, and told my husband "we have to try this!" We were now going on almost 10 months of disrupted sleep, and something had to give. Batelle was intriguing for many reasons, and we decided to give it a go. We received our welcome box, got everything set up, attended all the onboarding calls, and off we went. During the process with Batelle, I learned so much about my child, about babies and toddlers and their sleeping habits, and ways to build trust and consistency surrounding sleep habits and sleep spaces. I think I am a better mom for the three+ weeks we spent with Batelle. Everyone we encountered was kind, positive, understanding, and had been in our shoes at one time. They KNEW what night after night of no sleep felt like, and they all seemed genuinely dedicated to helping us. "Meeting" the other parents in our cohort over zoom made it feel like a family who was all on the same (yet unique) journey together. I cannot recommend Batelle enough if you need to take your child's sleeping journey in a new direction. We still have some work to do, but our lives are much better for having met everyone at Batelle. We are forever grateful to you and will miss you all dearly!
