I hadn't had home service for while, when I came across Basic Talk at Walmart. I read the box and decided to give it a try. If I didn't like it I was only loosing $9.99 so no big deal. That was June 2013 & I've had exceptional service every since for $13.09/month.

Since I connected with Basictalk, I have enjoyed noise free, hassle-free and completely reliable phone service with regular billing with no additional charges! I am now a believer that one can have a reliable home phone at low cost and peace of mind. I recommend Basictalk to everyone because it makes good sense!

Until Basic talk I was paying $25 dollars plus about $8 in fees and taxes. I get the same quality of service over the same internet connection I was using for the higher priced cable phone package. I can't get a telephone account for even twice the price that performs any better than Basic Talk! Love Basic Talk, worry free and hassle free service for $11 a month including taxes, amazing.

More than I would like to say, people on the other side of the conversation say that my phone has dropped out and asked me to repeat my words. I am using Basic Talk and the other side of the conversation is using a land line. Not sure why this occurs because I have plenty of bandwidth of 60 megabits download and 20 megabits upload. I never had this problem with Optimum Voice from Cablevision, I have to seriously consider the problem and whether I should stay with Basic Talk or return to Optimum Voice and pay extra for the uninterrupted service. It is not evident it is going to happen until it actually does and people complain that they can't hear me.

We have moved 3 times since we started Basic Talk Service. Each time we have had no problem with our phone service. I love just having internet for my phone service. Seems like we get less sales calls, and always the connection is clear no matter where we call or receive calls from. It seems like a great way to take a little away from the giant phone companies. If Basic Talk offered internet I would grab it right away. If you haven't tried it, maybe you should! Talk to you later, with my Basic Talk connection. :)

It's the way all phone companies should be

I had never heard of this company until I walked into my local Walmart. I decided to purchase the service because of it's low price. Only $10 a month, and the starter box was free! Who could argue with that? I've had the service since October and I've never had a problem with it. It's only less than $12 after taxes and its extremely easy to install. It beats all other companies because of its affordability and ease. I'm not looking to change this company any time soon.

This service is not only wonderful...its affordable
