I have been with them for 2 years now. It's been painless since, and never got any problems at all. Billing has been reliable. The phone quality and availability has been reliable, too. Free nation-wide calls are great. It is very competitive price (only $10 + tax per month), and best of all, it is a monthly contract, and no need for annual commitment. If things gets unreliable in the future, then you can quit any time. The only cons are the lack of feature sets that other companies have, such as FAX capability, international call option, and call-blocks. So, I can recommend BasicTalk to those people who only want a very basic feature set. I was hoping that they would improve some feature set while I join, but unfortunately, no improvements has been seen, so that I will try other company, now. But, don't get me wrong. I still highly recommend BasicTalk IF you only need just a basic local/nation-wide call feature.

The service is great for the most part. I love the price! The quality is great most of the time, sometimes there is a lot of static on the line.

No need for expensive home service, BASIC TALK is the only way to go!

I would recommend basic talk, low cost, low impact

I like basic talk because I needed a landline phone with no contract & very inexpensive with unlimited talk with long distance for less then $10 a month. This is the best investment ever.

You need to expand what your system offers. 1. Get FAX capability ASAP. I still need to fax occasionally, and the BasicTalk inability to fax is a problem. 2. Get incoming call blocks set up. This is just the relative beginning of the election season, and I'm averaging 4-5 calls a day that I don't want. Yes, I am registered with the do not call list, but political and research firms are exempt, so the phone still rings. Feel free to add $2-3$ to my monthly bill when you get these capabilities running, it would be worth it.

My phone service is great for our needs and only sorry I did not change sooner.
