I received a pair of sandals I didn’t order of very poor quality, and the customer service hasn’t responded to my emails. Not recommended. Update on 25 January - tried contacting Bareroots again but email address is not valid.

I ordered a pair of women's waterproof boots. I had never heard of Bareroots Footwear before but felt it safe to take a chance due to their 30 day return policy. The boots were attractive but offered no support anywhere. They were flat and hard as if walking on the ground. As a walker, I knew these boots were not for me. I contacted them via email to initiate the return process. Two days later they replied, requesting that I send photos of the boots to, "expedite the return process". I did as they asked. Three days later they sent an email stating that since a return would be at my great expense and would take "a considerable amount of time" to reach them, they would like to offer me 75% off of my next purchase and I could keep the boots that I received. What??!! I replied stating that this was a one and done purchase and again asked for a return address. No response. Tried calling, sent to voice mail. That was three weeks ago and still no response. I strongly advise against ordering from this company. There "30 day return" policy is indeed questionable. More like, request a return, accept our deal or we ghost you.

This company is a scam. I need to return 3 pairs of shoes. They do not fit and do not look like the pictures. Email to them says failure to send. When you call them they just give you the same email address that does not work. They will not respond. Total scam

Received a faulty pair of poor quality boots. Email address is not accepting mail. Phone number also not working. Sent two online form requests on their website and had no response. Avoid this company at all costs.

Easy to maneuver the website! We’ll judge them when they arrive but they they look great! We shall see!
