Helps with hip pain

I broke my back on the job back in 1993. About 1995 I bought a backjoy. Very expensive seat that looked sorta like a John Deere tractor seat. But it worked. I had tried many other cushions and such. They did not. After many years the hand hole on the front broke. I had to buy another one. It makes a huge difference when I drive.

My second purchase from Backjoy for their products. I initially purchased the original Sitsmart long ago with great success to help me through a back posture related lower back pain aggravated by overuse and poor form. Of course once the pain went away so did using the device. Well along came another injury so I decided to upgrade to their deluxe version with more padding and the added benefit of sweat absorption - yes it can be an issue! The new deluxe Sitsmart is worthy of the upgrade cost. A bit larger than the original and thus easier to get into the correct position and doesn't slide around as much. Looks a bit nicer as well against the upholstery of modern upscale vehicles and furniture - blends in a bit where the original kind of just stands out a bit too much for my taste. Anyways, I am closer once again to being lower back pain free but this time I think I'll continue to use it in effort to retrain my brain and back on correct posture while sitting. I'll be ordering more again soon as I want to not have to remember to grab it out of one vehicle in order to put it in another once I am done with my all day driving delivery routes, plus my spouse suffered from a herniated disk L4, and she feels the benefits of this product as well and would like her own Sitsmart for use at work, etc. We purchased the Backjoy lumbar support item at the same time and feel the benefit from that as well, especially when combined with the use of the Sitsmart. A bit clumsy managing the two and getting them lined up properly when first getting into a vehicle but worth the effort as I can drive all day now pain free. The third item we purchased was the Sitsright foam seat thinking that might work too but to be honest, we feel the Sitsmart seat performs much better, at least when used on padded chairs or sofa type seating. Perhaps if we were to be sitting on an extremely hard surface like sports bleachers, that might be where the Sitsright foam seat cushion would be ideal.

I've been a fan and customer of BackJoy for many years and love their products. Well not this time. The new and improved BackJoy needs to go back to the drawing board. There is not one thing good I can say about the product. I tried to give it to my son, he tried it and said "no thanks". The same with my daughter. How do I go about returning it. I was going to contact you today but you beet me to it.

I drive 900-1200 miles a week. Am 6’3” 225. Am using a basic & new version interchangeably. The devices extend sitting time between stops to stretch by 1-3 hours. Only seat support that has really worked. Recommend.

The seat is better than I expected and works great in different seats. I will get another soon.
