07/10/2024- I am trying to use the BackJoy Core (the back orthotic) but it is difficult. The pictures in my instruction booklet do not represent what I actually have. My logo is nit under my left thigh. Ummmm. I have not found a comfortable sitting position yet. I now just treat it as a pillow cushion to sit up taller in my chair at my desk in the office! No help! No posture support!

Not worth the price
It is supposed to help me with my posture but after using it for a month, I feel more comfortable sitting without it. I work long period of hours sitting in front of a computer and I don't think this helps. A normal cushion is nicer to seat on.

Did not work for me in a car
I am sure this product has helped many people sit in office chairs, but I needed it for my car.
The pictures show people sitting beautifully straight with unsupported backs. I've never seen anyone sit like that while driving a car.
I think it would be really helpful for backjoy to make a video of someone using it in a car. Including images (drawings) showing how their back is curved while sitting in a car. It did not work for me, and I don't see how it can work.
I am updating my review to honor the care and concern shown in the response by the company.

We are sorry for the confusing advice you received in 2024. However, we do believe after selling our multi patented seats for 40 years, in 55 countries, that the results speak for itself. In a 3rd party independent survey, 92% of users of our orthotic seats reported more comfort and 87% reported less pain. Our seats have been reviewed and endorsed by the ACA and ICA and the majority of our customers are referred through word of mouth endorsement by existing users and by wellness providers. EFFECTIVE RELIEF WHILE SITTING
I purchased my”tractor seat” several years ago. MRIs showed L4-S1 stenosis and various disc issues. Using this seat has given relief while sitting in the car. It is very much worth having.

I liked the original seat better
I liked the original seat better. This new one is huge. The hump in the middle hits the bottom, inside of my leg and is somewhat uncomfortable when driving. It is so WIDE that it makes it difficult to get the seatbelt in. Wish you would go back to the smaller, original one.

Per your requests and hundreds of of others, we have brought back the original SitSmart RELIEF Seat! We also revised the SitSmart CORE 2.0. It is more dynamic and comfortable than the original CORE.
We now have 3 sizes. They all work on the same principle. Choose based on your weight.
SitSmart Core 2.0: for a broader frames, weighing between 180 to over 300 lbs.
SitSmart Relief: for between 120-180 Ibs.
SitSmart Mini: for slender frames, weighing between 60-120 Ibs.
All sizes have fabrics or foam paddings. Select the padding based on your Lifestyle.

I can’t remember when I bought my first…
I can’t remember when I bought my first Backjoy. I saw an infomercial on TV and thought it worth trying. It succeeded in improving my lower back. I’ve nearly worn out that first one and have purchased 2 others and then this latest one. I keep one in the car, at the cabin and elsewhere where I use them. You have an excellent product!

I bought one last year and it really helped my hips and legs in my travels, so I bought another one to leave at my other residence. I received the seat quickly and in good condition. Would highly recommend it for anyone with lower back issues.
