Not a trustworthy company
Not a trustworthy company I rent cars very frequently. For this reason I have my own insurance just for rentals. In the last month I have rented form AVIS/Budget 4 times. Each time they found some problem to the car - and I wan't responsible, but I had to pay. 2 times very small scratches, difficult to assess at the beginning. 1 time a damage to the suspension, attributed to me "because you are the last user". And once a scratch to the wheel rim, also very difficult to assess at the beginning. The level of attention to these details at the time of rental is zero. And it is extremely accurate at the checkout. Additionally, this summer I had just rented a car, described as 'perfect, without any damage'. Luckily, that time the parking lot was in the open air and daylight, I could see right away that the rear window was broken. I called the company person from the car and they added this to the damages. Had I realized 10 minutes later, it would have been my responsibility. In none of these cases I had the slightest form of collaboration from the personnel.
