Car and service at Bratislava were fine. When my security deposit was taken and not returned for no reason Avis Budget did very little to help get it back and just passed the buck to the credit card company even though they have my stolen EUR 900 in their bank! After much wasted time calling and emails my credit card company has had to open a dispute to get it back which is ongoing after 2 months. I am disgusted and will never use Avis Budget again. They do state in their terms and conditions it is the credit card company responsibility but that is a poor get out clause to say sorry tough luck you are on your own. I have hired cars many times and never had this trouble before. Paul Newbold
