No spare wheel and not told there was not one!
Avis stated that it will supply a roadworthy car. I picked up a Spanish number plated vehicle from Orly airport and paid an extra 900 Euros as it was to be dropped off at Barcelona. In Spain a car must have a spare wheel in order to be deemed roadworthy. I was shocked to find (after driving 500 kilometres) that the car did not have a spare! So Avis failed to provide a roadworthy car and do not understand that the contract between Avis and me is null and void. Apart from this major issue car was good. Not sure if I would rent from Avis in future. Oh avoid Avis Orly, chaotic!
