The KID that helped me was a complete idiot and knew absolutely nothing. When I tried to get some help with something else he disappeared because he knew he didn't know anything and didn't want to help anyone. The store at 1200 Military Highway is absolutely worthless.. I had to go to advanced Auto to get help. I will never ever come to the store again.

5/5 Stars – Exceptional Service from Lance at AutoZone!
5/5 Stars – Exceptional Service from Lance!
My car battery died today, and I ended up at the AutoZone in Allen, TX. I am so glad I did. I don't normally write reviews, but the exceptional customer service I received from Lance made me want to share my experience.
Lance walked me through all my options for a new battery, clearly explained the costs, and answered every single question I had. He made a stressful situation incredibly easy and smooth. If you need help with your vehicle, go to this location and ask for Lance—he goes above and beyond! Thank you, Lance!

Overnight delivery was a lie
Promised overnight delivery, which was the only reason I bought from AutoZone. Almost 5 days later and I still haven’t gotten it.

Went to their website to buy a fuel…
Went to their website to buy a fuel tank Selector valve
The brand name ( Encore) Part# FSV-D20001
What shocked me was the price of 618.99 a nearly 1,100 % Markup of this part, most places on the Internet sell these for 50-85 dollars as a generic replacement under the Ford latest part number.
Problem is they are junk! And fail immediately!
To be fair I saw another Lone retailer selling this part for the same price, but a well known parts store to totally just rip people off is really bad!
I found this part online from a Ford Dealership for 318.23 at still high price at only a 485% markup,
After two chinese valves that failed immediately.
I will probably buy it from the Ford Dealership.
Or I may just go another route and block one of my gas tanks with a kit , or install a manual or electric valve to get around this insanity. There is more than one way to solve this issue!
These companies have no heart or sole and have no problems ripping consumers off at their weakest moments of needs.
Sure I believe in making a fair profit, everybody has to eat and pay their bills.
But this is total price insanity. I hope people read my review and buy this part elsewhere.
Oh BTW, when I tried to leave a similar review on AutoZone's website they refused to let me leave any comments about their very high price

Battery Under Warranty
I'm pretty sure auto zone is set up to make a fool of women. My daughter went to 2 different locations to have her battery serviced since she was having to jump the car off each time she went to start it. These two locations near Baton Rouge and Zachary area told her wasn't anything wrong with the battery and it could be an electrical issue (battery was still under warranty). Several weeks later went by and it took a male figure of our family to take the battery back to auto zone and to have it replaced( lol) because something was wrong with the batteries. To the guys that waited on my daughter and lied to her, remember you may have daughters one day and someone like yourself will do her like you guys did my daughter. O'Reilly's here we come.

Poor Return Policy Excellent Employees
31837 S Hwy 79, Ste A, Temecula, CA
I have consistently found the employees here to be helpful, professional, and hardworking, which I genuinely appreciate. Their strong work ethic made my initial experience a positive one.
However, I was disappointed by the return policy. After purchasing new headlights, the dealership ended up repairing mine under warranty, leaving me with an unopened $100 item I no longer needed.
Unfortunately, I was unable to return it. While I understand that policies are in place for a reason, this felt unnecessarily restrictive.
Because of this experience, I am hesitant to return for future purchases

Customer Service Complaint
AutoZone Store #938 (GA-42, McDonough, GA)
I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service we received at AutoZone Store #938 on GA-42 in McDonough, Georgia.
Before driving to the store, we called to get a price quote for replacement headlights for our 2014 Infiniti QX80. We spoke with **Gireesha S., Sales Manager**, and specifically asked for the price of the headlights. She repeatedly stated, three separate times, that "all headlights range from $20 to $35." To make sure there was no misunderstanding, we asked again and even confirmed that we were asking about a 2014 Infiniti QX80. Each time, she assured us that all headlights fell within that price range.
Based on that information, we drove approximately 4.7 miles to the store with the intention of purchasing the headlights.
Upon arriving, another associate assisted us. Instead of guessing, he looked up the correct part and informed us that the headlights cost significantly more than what we had been quoted over the phone. We explained that we had just spoken with Gireesha, who repeatedly quoted us a price range of $20–$35.
The associate brought Gireesha to the front. Before she approached us, we overheard her telling the associate, "I know, I know, I told them wrong." When she spoke with us, she admitted she had quoted the wrong price and then asked if we had said it was for a BMW. We never mentioned a BMW, and she never asked for the year, make, or model before giving us the incorrect pricing. Instead, she simply repeated that "all headlights were $20–$35".
While Gireesha did acknowledge that she made the mistake, she refused to honor the price she had quoted. Her explanation was that the store was busy and that she made an error. However, if the store was too busy to provide accurate information, she should have taken a moment to look up the correct part rather than repeatedly providing incorrect pricing. A simple lookup could have prevented us from making an unnecessary trip.
Gireesha then contacted the store's General Manager, Bailey, for guidance. Unfortunately, Bailey was dismissive and unwilling to consider the situation, even after being told that Gireesha admitted the mistake. Bailey immediately refused to honor the quoted price and showed little interest in resolving the issue. When I stated that I intended to submit a complaint, her response made it clear that she simply did not care.
The only resolution offered was a 10% discount, but that does not address the real issue. This complaint is not about the money. It is about accountability, professionalism, and honoring commitments made to customers. When a manager repeatedly provides incorrect information and admits the mistake, the company should take responsibility instead of expecting the customer to absorb the inconvenience.
As a customer, I expect honesty, accountability, and respect. Instead, we experienced poor communication, indifference, and a complete lack of customer care from store management.
I hope AutoZone will review this incident, provide additional customer service training for the managers involved, and reinforce the importance of verifying information before quoting prices to customers. Most importantly, I hope AutoZone encourages its managers to take ownership of their mistakes and make reasonable efforts to resolve customer concerns.
Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to your response.
