Hi Dennis, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are truly sorry for the frustration caused by the extended shipping time and the different updates you received along the way. I understand how disappointing it can be to wait several weeks for a replacement and not have a clear update on its status. Regarding the newer ION 2 this model was designed with a more convenient and simplified user experience. It does not have a traditional power button. Instead, placing the hearing aids back into the charging case automatically turns them off, while removing them from the case automatically turns them on.
