What a relief a product worth the very reasonable cost, unbelievable upgrade from the $5k all option hearing aids I had, I don't miss the Bluetooth whatsoever as the auto connect drove me crazy anyway. The personal service and communication is so much more than the ENT I used on my first set of hearing aids without the travel hassel and appointments not to mention the cost. The change in my social interaction has already improved 100% it's not hard when you can actually hear what folks say to you. Not sure about the durability and life expectancy but for the cost as of now I have received much more than expected from an OTC hearing aid.

Audien has great customer service. Representatives are prompt, courteous, and there to help.

The company sent the set of hearing aids quickly and I tried them for about 2 weeks. I was impressed with the quality of them, but they were just too large for my ears. I’m returning them and will continue to search for another option.

The only reason for 4 stars, rather than 5, is that after I placed my order online, two weeks passed without any shipment. An email from brought an instant notice that my order had been shipped, including tracking information. My experience with customer service has been great. My first order was for two in-ear hearing aids. That product quickly turned out not to be appropriate for me, and I exchanged it for a BTE model, which suits me better. I had to return my first BTE because one of the devices proved to be defective (an Audien representative had me try several steps to remedy the problem. When that didn't help, she immediately made arrangements for me to return it and send me a new set. My new BTE devices work well. The second of the two original in-ear devices was meant to be for my husband. After trying it for a month, he asked me to return it. It was effectively amplifying sounds but he still had trouble with voices and understanding dialogue on TV, for example. The Audien representative quickly took care of processing the refund and estimating the refund to be made upon their receipt of the device. Much better customer service than I experienced with a different manufacturer a couple of years ago. So far, very pleased.
