There's only one good thing I can say right now - email correspondence is good. Here's the BAD thing: the hearing aids were not in the package that was mailed to me.

Once I purchased the hearing aids, customer service reached out right away to offer any assistance I needed. Both Liz and Lisa were very informed and were able to answer all my questions. In my opinion, Audien is a great choice for mild to moderate hearing loss that I currently experience.

Audien Atom Pro 2 I realize that this is a personal thing and experiences can be very different. I my case, it all has been positive, and my review unapologetically will reflect that. To dispose of customer service questions, my experience has been superior. I expected the worst because Audien products have had a really high rating recently and I figured they would be swamped, but it was just the opposite. Communication with Audien was easy. I have had "mild hearing loss" in my right ear all my life. When I was a kid, they said that I should pay better attention and do not need hearing aids. 35 and 7 years ago, audiologists said that I have a congenital defect and do not need hearing aids. But, my friends and family say that I do, so several weeks ago, at age 79, I wound up with the Atom Pro 2. Before you do anything else, Google and study "7 Tips To Get Used To Your Atom 2 Series Hearing Aids." If you don't memorize it, keep it handy. Once I read it I said, "I can do this," and I bought the Atom Pro 2. An updated version of "7 Tips" is included in the box. Follow its advice: after fit, the only real issues are feedback whistling and sound adjustment. For fit, you're on your own--I have different size canals. For feedback, set the volume to low and rotate the hearing aid to where the microphone points away from parts of the outer ear that might create an echo. For sound adjustment, my fat fingers always change the volume settings when I pick them up, and it's easy enough to push the buttons when they are installed. I don't quite get all four "Hearing Modes," but I only use the Atom Pro 2 in small conversations (#1) a noisier environments(2), such as a restaurant. The Atom Pro 2 "devices" do not coordinate with each other, and they do not have bluetooth or a smartphone app, which I don't care about. I do use them in my good ear as well, which makes the sound similar in each ear. In short, they pretty much are plug 'n' play.

I am used to over the ear hearing aids and these worked great from the start no fooling around with noise or other distractions. . Thank you.

I ordered the Atom Pro 1 and they did not fit since I have a very narrow ear canal. I called customer support and the #1 customer service person in the nation, Kevin, helped me turn in the first pair in and I was able to exchange for the Atom Pro 2 for a very nominal price. Kevin’s responses to me were prompt, kind, courteous and knowledgeable. My Atom Pro 2 will arrive on a day or two.

I'm 83 years old, and have been hard of hearing ever since my tours in the Vietnam war. I like the Atom Pro 2 a lot. They work very well. The instructions are very simple and easy to understand. I'm still getting used to the hearing aids--I'm still in the learning mode. I've only used volume #2 and the conversation mode settings so far. I'll try the other environmental modes soon. I'm saying "What?" a whole lot less now, which makes me and my friends and relatives very happy. These hearing aids are also hard to see in your ears. They're pretty small. Their customer service is top knotch. At Audien, the customer service representative, Liz, was super helpful--she knows a lot about the hearing aids, speaks very well, and is very easy to chat with. She gave me some great recommendations for fitting the hearing aids in my ears, and different ways to try them out. Thanks Liz. Much appreciated.

DO NOT BUY HEARING AIDS FROM AUDIEN! They are POOR quality and they will draw out helping you resolve the issue long enough to be past the 45 day return policy and then refuse a refund. This is a complete SCAM! Do NOT purchase!!

I have only been wearing my aids for a week. I wasn't happy and was somewhat impatient trying to get them to fit properly in my ear. That has been 80% resolved. My only disappointment is that they don't come in varied colors. I am a black lady and would like to have ordered a darker product. Other than that, so far, so good.
