I love the services that Uverse has provided so far. Every interaction I have had with them has been helpful and friendly. The one mix up I had was fixed immediately and dealt with in a quick efficient manner. I was not able to have AT&T at my old place and refused to get anything else so moving and finally getting Uverse again has been great!!

Best installation and service experience
When I first moved to Tennessee I had contacted Comcast, mostly because that is who I heard I should use. After getting a pretty quick response and a fast appointment (I had expressed I needed internet ASAP for my husbands job), I was excited to start my experience with them.
The day of installation came and no one showed up. I texted my original contact and this time around it took him quite a while to respond. When he finally did, he said the technician cancelled due to weather (my apt was between 8-10, it started snowing at 12, I called at 12:45). I was frustrated due to the fact that this wasn't even communicated to me and seeing as how I was new to town, I had other errands to run that I could have been running. The guy assured me the quickest someone could get to me was 4 days later (Friday). Since I didn't have a choice I said fine. Friday came, the tech showed up and informed me they had to dig to get me a line so I could have the internet and it would take an additional 3-5 days. At this point I was mad.
After discussing with my husband, we decided to try AT&T to see if we could get better quicker service. The technician was at our house Monday as promised, came in and set everything up in that one session, and we had internet within the hour. He showed me how to do everything I needed and walked me through it standing back to make sure I could do it without him. My husband generally takes care of all of that so I was happy to be able to learn and say I had done it and could do it again if necessary.
The tech also went the extra step and text me a day later to make sure I was happy with my service and that everything was running smoothly.
Service like this is unfortunately rare, but I am extremely happy to have had the problems with comcast, just so I could experience this level of customer service.

I waited for 8 hours and the installer never showed. Now I am without internet/phone for 3 days.
When my apt window (9-11) passed, I called to confirm the technician was coming. They assured me he was on the way. I waited until 5 and no one came. Now I am without phone/internet until Tues! Unacceptable as I work from home.
To make matters worse - I called 4 times on Monday to try to get the issue resolved. Total time on the phone with AT&T on Monday alone was almost 2 hours - repeating my self over and over with each new customer service rep.

More Bang For Your Buck
I recommend AT&T to anyone. For the amount of channels you receive for the amount you pay is unbelievable. The picture quality isn't short stopping itself either. You receive a pretty even balance with the product versus the price. Any other service you pay alot but the service you receive doesn't match up with the price you pay. Our you pay less and receive horrible service.

Dude, we just got our new place and we got AT&T for cable and internet, hands down the best service we've had!!! So many channels and to top it off we have 2 DVR boxes!!! And don't forget the high speed internet to use our PS4 on!! It's amazing!!
