Asura HostingReviews of asurahosting.com

I've been using AsuraHosting for over two years now, and they've consistently provided fast, reliable shared hosting at a very fair price. What really sets them apart is their support team — especially in times of need. Recently, I reached out regarding temporary constraints. Special thanks to Mike and the support team for going above and beyond. I highly recommend AsuraHosting to anyone looking for affordable, stable, and trustworthy hosting — especially for startups or small businesses.

Helped with migrating my entire portfolio over from WIX, despite my old host trying almost everything to block migrations outwards the migration team over at Asura helped migrate most of my websites over manually. I'm glad I'm out of that abusive price-gouging system over at WIX and over at a provider that actually cares about people's pockets.

I purchased the Web Hosting Unlimited Plus package and expected everything to go smoothly, just like with a regular hosting company. When I was sent the Cpanel information, I noticed that I'd been given a shared IP address instead of a dedicated one; moreover, hundreds of sites were assigned this IP address. As if that weren't enough, I noticed that some of the included features were identical to those in the lowest-tier Starter package. So, what happened was that the package listed in my account was the Starter package, which cost $1, but the package I paid for was the Unlimited Plus package, which cost $5. Support initially reassigned the IP address, but it's still a shared IP address. And they haven't responded to my messages in two days. Current status: dedicated IP assigned and support made an effort to resolve all issues (I think the trustpilot review was a bit influential).

Asura Hosting delivers exceptional service with top-tier performance and reliability. Their servers are fast, stable, and perfect for any project. But what really sets them apart is their support team — fast, helpful, and always professional. Whether it's a small issue or a technical question, they handle it with care. Truly one of the best hosting providers out there. Highly recommended!

I started off with a streaming radio hosting plan for a radio show I present then I moved my business websites over to one of their Elite cPanel plans. All started off reasonably well, I found that I was supposed to be on a dedicated IP address but wasn't, then found the IP address was blacklisted. I was eventually given another IP for all of my 10 websites but I'm still sure it was a shared one. The next thing to happen was issues with SSL, then none of my websites were resolving, the new IP address was being blocked by spam blacklists, then I couldn't FTP new files because the disk was full and support would take days to answer anything. All of the above was with my standard Elite website hosting, then last Friday while broadcasting live the stream was being continually dropped. Support eventually got back to me regarding the cancellation of the streaming account and said there was issues blah blah blah and if I want they credit me that month, then when I cancelled the Elite website hosting I eventually get this reply... We do apologize for the delay in support, we are currently dealing with a very large volume of new clients and the move to Switzerland was also unexpected and made the past couple of weeks quite hectic. We are working on dealing with the large demand head on and it will ease in the next couple of months. We do appreciate your patience and understanding during this period. I've been hosting websites for well over 25 years and these have to be the worst hosts and the lack of real support is a killer. Not often I post reviews but Asurahost is shocking. All of this happened between May & the last week of July 2025 EDIT July 30th: I received a reply to my Asura Host tickets from Mike, I then spent an hour constructing a very diplomatic and polite response, read it through then sent it only to be told that the ticket doesn't not exist and the reply hasn't been recorded. What more can I say (sigh)

For the best down time on websites, please choose Asura, your websites will be on and off all the time, you will loose more clients than you've ever gained and these guys dont really give a damn apart from the silly excuses

Avoid this host. A critical database connection between two of my servers, which had been working perfectly for months, suddenly failed. My application has been down for over two days because of this. Asura Hosting's support has been shockingly incompetent: They immediately blamed my "MySQL user permissions," even though I proved my settings were correct. I provided them with definitive proof from server logs showing a fatal No route to host network error. They have completely ignored this evidence and seem incapable of diagnosing a simple network block on their own infrastructure. Instead of solving the problem, they waste your time blaming you for their platform's failures. If you are a developer or run a business that needs reliable hosting, look elsewhere. A company that doesn't understand what a "No route to host" error means cannot be trusted.

I purchased a hosting plan to test the responsiveness of their support, but unfortunately, their reply took more than three days. When I responded to the ticket, I never received any further reply until I decided to cancel the service. Even then, I did not receive a refund. I eventually decided to file a complaint with PayPal.
