Support is active but their network is always down
Support is active but their network and service is bullshit. Its offline when you needed it and online when you do not. I really tried working with their support team but nothing in vein , i lost a very important customer because of them and even though i tried staying with them . Problem still exists, they dont acknowledge it. Servers are unreachable, i wasted lot of time to that hosting. I now changed to another one and its such a relief.

Hello Haris,
We have contacted you regarding this directly now to find out more information regarding this. We have not lodged any network faults recently other than our planned network upgrade in Early September that we have been rolling out.
That network upgrade was to add much more redundancy and more control for us to address issues just like this a lot quicker.

Customer service is a letdown
I am sure if you start up a website from scratch their service will do. However migrating a WP website is a different matter. It is very cheap but the Customer service is slow and not adequate. I am no sure how much they are paid but they are not motivated enough to get to the bottom and solve things, which is a shame. I have to ask things 3 times and still not get an answer.Seriously I would be happy to pay more for just a tad more involvement. Which is what I would advise to potential customers.
Update: In the end I resolved it myself, as the CS was too slow to be helpful. Sofar the site is up, but keep getting Jetpack messages about the site being on and off. On a daily basis.

Hello Estella,
Staff should be able to easily move/migrate your site over. We do have a specialized migration team handling those.
I have requested your details via Trustpilot, please do provide them there so we can have a more detailed look.

Don't get trapped by the features they claim to offer.
I have been using asura starter plan for a year, due to the need of more server space capacity i decided to upgrade to Unlimited plan as they claimed to offer unlimited SSD storage... Oops it was bad decision i did, only 1GB SSD increased (I contacted support but they are answer was not genuine to convice me that i was not scammed),.
Whenever i tried to upload new files i had to delete old files, while sometimes even if i deleted old files still can't upload any new files.
Inshort,Asura hosting they claim to offer what they don't actually provide

Hello Saudi,
If you upgraded to the next tier there shouldn’t be a set limit at all. If there is, then something must of happened during the automatic upgrade and it probably did not get upgraded at all.
Can you please provide me with your customer details as I cannot locate it with your name. (Requested it via Trustpilot)

The price is attractive but it's the only thing that is
The customer service was atrocious. Within weeks of joining, despite their 99% uptime claims, it became clear that it wasn't true and my site was forever going down.
When it was up, the FTP couldn't connect reliably and despite submitting numerous tickets about this, it was never gotten to the bottom of and kept being dismissed. It would take hours to upload things that it should automatically queue and just upload. When downloading things, it would miss files or download incomplete versions due to the connections dropping constantly.
They often would not reply to tickets and leave you hanging, after the initial 'thank you, we'll get back to you' message.
They also tried to tell me that I HAD to pay them for a domain I had moved out of their hosting and to another company or they would cancel it. I told them repeatedly i'd already moved it and renewed it elsewere and they wouldn't have it - absolute scam!
My hosting expires within the week and I've deleted my card details from the website. I cannot wait to be free of them after moving my site away earlier due to their awful service.
In short - avoid!

Hello Ms Davidson,
Must be our firewall intervening with your connection if you noticed that. I unfortunately cannot locate your account to have a detailed look but I have requested your information via Trustpilot. Would kindly ask to fill it out so I can check up on what caused this.
With regards to the domain - likely our registry just did not update that the domain has moved elsewhere, which is why our system automatically tried to bill it. Will also check that out once I have your customer account details.

Constantly Lieing they tell me they…
Constantly Lieing they tell me they have fixed things on my shared hosting when nothing has been done.. Example I wanted GD support they told me it was enabled and ready to go when i pulled up the PHPINFO file they hadnt even enabled GD support
Response from Asura HostingJun 30, 2026
Hello Roy,
That can be caused by numerous issues, likely just CloudLinux's cagefs did not update it. It can happen, we just have to reset the cagefs of the hosting account so that the actual PHP changes take effect. Please let me know your customer account so I can take a deeper look.

It's important to leave these comments to help Asurahosting and to help other users.
I had a very bad experience with the service. Problems started after 15 days of use, and after a month the issues weren't resolved. After almost two months and twenty days, I had to cancel the service because they weren't fixing the problem. Submitting a support ticket is particularly unreliable; while they do respond, it's not easy to properly submit a problem report.

Constant outages and no awareness from support
I’ve been with Asura Hosting for around 6 years. They were never the fastest, but they used to be stable, which mattered more to me.
Over the past couple of years, though, things have gone steadily downhill.
The main issue isn’t just the outages, it’s that they often don’t even realise something is broken. I regularly have to raise issues with them first, and when they respond it’s usually just a holding reply. When the problem is eventually fixed, the explanation given rarely matches what actually happened, which is frustrating from a technical standpoint.
What makes this worse is their service status page always shows everything as operational, even during major outages. I can only assume that’s what they’re relying on internally as well, which would explain why they’re often unaware of issues until customers report them.
To be clear, I understand that things go wrong. Hardware fails, routes drop, services have issues. That’s part of running infrastructure. But this feels like a lack of awareness and control rather than isolated incidents.
Just this last 3 months:
1. DirectAdmin licence expiring without them noticing
2. Full email outages with no prior awareness (“records disappeared”)
3. Bot protection interfering with phpMyAdmin, effectively breaking access
4. Ongoing server issues where sites go from errors (513) to missing accounts entirely
Most recently, I experienced a full server outage affecting all my sites that went unresolved for hours, again without them being aware until I reported it.
At the price point, you do expect some trade-offs. But reliability and basic monitoring shouldn’t be one of them.
It’s a shame, because they used to be a decent low-cost option. Unfortunately now, I can’t rely on them, and that’s starting to impact my own customers and reputation.

Needs a lot of improvement
Poor customer service, no updates at all for AzuraCast stable, bugs because of the outdated version, but still the most stable build and the most cheapest too!
