Once National Verifier approves me, the next step is to get the phone. Unfortunately, Assurance Wireless customer service has misinformed me several times and has not been diligent about their work, including the supervisors. The supervisors are confusing me. I am disappointed with the company for inconveniencing me for more than a month.

I have reapply for service 3 times every time I got a new phone activated it and then I had service for a about a week then I get a message on my phone saying that I have to reapply for service. I just called customer service today again they said I have to reapply again for the 4th time. I'm getting tired of appling for service

I HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED SERVICE WITH THIS COMPANY YET. IT'S ALREADY RIDICULOUS AND FRAUDULENT. I SIGNED UP WITH A STREET AGENT AND SHE ACTUALLY GAVE MY PHONE OR KEPT MY PHONE ALONG WITH MY SOCIAL SECURITY INFO AND OTHER PERSONAL INFO. I CALLED A FEW DAYS AFTER THE INCIDENT AND NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED. IT'S BEEN ABOUT 3WKS AND I LOGGED INTO THE ACCOUNT THRU ONLINE. WHOEVER HAD MY PHONE WAS MAKING CALLS. THEY HAD ACCESS AS OF YESTERDAY ON MY ACCOUNT WITH MY PERSONAL INFORMATION ACCESSIBLE. THIS HAS MADE ME QUESTION THEM AND THEIR HONESTY ON THEIR POLICY TO KEEP USER'S INFO PROTECTED. NOW I HAVE TO FLAG MY SS NUMBER ETC. IT'S STILL BEEN TWO WEEKS INSTEAD OF 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS THEY CLAIM TO WAIT. SO, NOW I AM STILL HERE. DISABLED WITHOUT A PHONE TO KEEP UP WITH DR S VISITS AND COMMUNICATION WITH IMPORTANT PEOPLE. MY GIRL'S SCHOOL CANNOT CONTACT ME. IT WAS A VERY UNNECESSARY. I AM IN THE PROCESS OF CONTACTING THE CORPORATE OFFICE BECAUSE THIS WENT IN A WAY IT DEF HAD NO BUSINESS GOING. MU INFO WAS COMPLETELY COMPROMISED WITH THIS EMPLOYEE THEY HIRED TO HELP US WITH ACCESS TO A FREE PHONE SERVICE.

I have had their service twice and both times I was sent malfunctioning phones. My second one got hacked and they did nothing but ask me way too personal questions and refer me to a TMobile dealer miles away that I couldn't get to in a wheelchair. I went next with SafeLink who sent me a much better phone but disconnected my service without warning. Then went back to assurance and they sent me an even crappier dysfunctional phone with a recycled number, I got hacked again, and they refused to replace the phone unless I paid 39 dollars! Outsourced government funded crap! Qlink may be better but not available where I live. Friends recommend mint. Just need to afford it and can't. There is a war going on against those in need of these services I am now convinced. They are totally consumer unfriendly and just are preying on the poor and disenfranchised with government endorsements and false misleading ads.

They are the worst no one knows nothing and all they can tell you is wait 5 to 7 buisness days incompetent people

I’ve had Assurance Wireless for a few months now. I was given a NJ number but live in PA. The phone rings with NJ numbers nonstop. Now I’m receiving porn texts & group messages. It’s straight up harassment. Not a fan….

Absolutely Horrible service!! The phones get incredibly hot even when not in use, I ended up with a hard painful knot on my ear and my Doctor advised me to stop using the phone. Assurance wireless does not care, the Government's going to pay them regardless of health concerns. Assurance wireless Customer Service Representatives have not been trained and have no idea about the company, service or phones, they've been instructed to lie and read from the company script. I've actually had to retype this review seven times because my service keeps dropping but I'm not going to bother calling Assurance wireless Customer Service because all they know to say is shut your phone off for up to 4 hours, when I eventually have to call back because the service isn't working it'll be after business hours and no one will be available to take my call. I absolutely do not recommend Assurance wireless.

I've been with Assurance for about six years. This past year they sent me an upgrade phone. Towards the end of the one year warranty I noticed the phone felt a little warmer & case slightly bulging. Not expecting nor barely using the phone (sits on kitchen counter) the condition got worse. By then, concerned, it was now about a week or so out of warranty. Now the case has completed split and the phone is hot all from a slowly becoming defective lithium battery. Now dangerous; a fire hazard with potentially deadly consequences Assurance refused to replace unless I bought a new phone. Conclusion: Someone has the wrong priorities.
