Ashley Homestore DARTMOUTH NOVA SCOTIA.
Over a 10 year period I have purchased 3 mattress sets and 3 couches. That's A LOT of money. My most recent couch was delivered the beginning of December. I live alone. I do not use my couch often and I also take very good care of anything I own so it should not look like it does within a month or so of owning. I’ve contacted the store with a response being that
“Hi Sarah, I do apologize for the delay. I’ve been talking to the General Manager and service about this, and they said this is not a quality issue and the pilling is normal. The easiest way to quickly take care of this is with a fabric shaver, and it will look like new afterwards.
I’ve attached a link to an article on upholstery fabric pilling that has some suggestions.
******I had to remove the link sent to me as links are not allowed in reviews******
I’m sorry this probably isn’t the answer you were looking for. If I can be of any other help, please reach out.”
I did not purchase a couch for over 1600 dollars to be told that. My last couch that is 4-5 years old actually looks better than my new couch. This is not normal. I would think such a large company would stand behind their products. If I wanted a cheap
worn down looking couch I would have bought a cheap one or a second hand one.
I just want the couch to be picked up and be refunded the cost so I can go purchase myself a couch that will actually look good for a much longer time compared to this one!

If I could give a -100 stars I would
If I could give a -100 stars I would. The worse experience I have ever encountered. We purchased a round dining room table and chairs in Oct.8th 2021. The first deliver date of 11/5 was canceled without any notification. On 11/6 went to the Grapevine Store store "manager" was at lunch and not available. 2nd delivery date scheduled for 11/12/21. There were damages to chairs, table was unstable, delivery person took pictures of damages and sent them to 'someone". We were advised to keep furniture because it was fixable. We were then advised that we would get a phone call that same day or the next, we never did. We then called GRT (Guest Response Team) which is in Mexico. Repair service came out 1 month later 12/20 touched up chairs and stated that the table was not fixable. Table was unstable by design, too top heavy and not properly supported by center pedestal. Went back to Grapevine Store manager was again "busy" surprise, surprise! Handed off to James I showed him the same table on his sales floor and he to agreed the table was not safe due to being top heavy. James had the person who does the set of of furniture take a look at the table and he also agreed there was no fix to it. Next step was to exchange the round table to a rectangle table. Exchange was "approved" We selected another table but it was on backorder would be available in Feb. In Feb we were told backorder now until March. March 25th table was delivered, it never left the truck because the driver pointed out a major defect with the table as well as a large scratch going across one corner. Called the Grapevine Store spoke with Rosie gave her an update on what was going on, she could not help us until the end of the day when the delivery drivers were done for the day. Asked to speak with the store manager and guess what HE WAS NOT AVAILABLE! We ended up showing up at the store. NO customer should ever have to return to a store 5 times to try to get things settled. Rosie tried to help as much as she could, Spoke with Brock the "store manager" he said he could not do anything until the delivery drivers had finished for the day. Had to wait until the next day, next day called GRT again in Mexico waited on hold x 1 hr after asking to speak with manager spoke with Sofia, let her know that we just wanted EVERYTHING picked up mind you we still have the round table at our house because they had said to keep it from the beginning and were to do an exchange when the rectangle table was delivered. Sofia advised us that they have a NO RETURN POLICY! She then arrange for another delivery on 03/30. Today 03/30 we took off work for the delivery, the delivery drivers show up start to unpack the table and guess what IT IS MISSING ONE OF THE LEGS TO THE TABLE!!!! Delivery drivers call "whoever" repack the table tell us to call GRT and leave. We call GRT well they can't help us because the delivery drivers have to finish their days delivery's first! They have our hands tied behind our backs! We are at a loss of what to do. They will not let us return the furniture. This has been going on since Oct 2021, they have our money but we don't have our furniture! Now we have to set up another date for table to be delivered. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM ASHLEY!!!!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, MANAGERS THAT HIDE FROM CUSTOMERS, HAVING TO DEAL WITH GRT IN MEXICO. CORPORATE COMPLAINT PUT

Chair Delivery in 6 months Table Pending
This is honest reviews and not paid ones,Bought dinning table In Nov 2021 from Online Ashley and they said due to Covid there might be delays which is understandable, but worst part is they just delivered chairs and kept the table till March 2022 and now saying they will deliver on Apr 2022,this is highly unacceptable and Ashley furniture cannot be considered a fair business becasue you see now i am stuck becasue they will not return chairs and they are not delivering the table

Please do not purchase from this…
Please do not purchase from this company!! They lie about what all the warranty covers and lie about your delivery date. They had us sign an illegal contract with a delivery date 27 years away. They emailed us Marh 1, 2022 claiming they would issue us a refund but we have yet to receive the refund. They tried to deliver the furniture to us even after saying they cancelled our order and would refund us. They ignored our emails and still tried to show up without an appointment!

Won't Honor Warranty for Color Loss on Leather
I am seeking your help to protect my consumer and legal rights. Dufresne Spencer Group (DSG) dba Ashley Homestore, 4851 Citylake Blvd East, Fort Worth, TX 76132, who feels they are above the law and they can do whatever they feel.
My name is Rachel Prestage. On January 26, 2021, I ordered a 3 piece Matching Leather Living Room Set, which included a Power Reclining Sofa, Loveseat and Recliner. In addition, my purchase included a 5 year GBS Extended Warranty and White Glove Delivery. October 7, 2021, I noticed all 3 pieces of furniture were discolored. I was told this was real “Genuine” Leather. What I noticed upon closer inspe.ction is that they sold me Fake Leather as Real Leather. In fact, it turns out the fake leather was just painted by DSG/AHS (Ashley Furniture).
DSG dba AHS is a Franchise Owner Group (Mark Dufresne, Chad Spencer & Todd Wanek a Silent Partner). Todd Wanek is the owner/CEO of Ashley Furniture Industries. So the owner/CEO of Ashley Furniture Industries is a Direct Owner in this Franchise. I share this brief info, which reflects their deep understanding of the Quality and Deceptive Business Practices.
I filed an initial claim with GBS Warranty Services, but they declined my claim because they do not cover poor quality and only deal with Accidental Damage. Thus I turned around to file a Claim with Ashley Furniture Directly. October 11, 2021, I filed a claim under the one-year Manufacturer’s Warranty. Ashley Furniture had agreed to cover the damage. I asked for a Replacement, but Ashley Furniture said, “No.” Since Oct 2021, until Jan 2022, I made 23 phone calls to Ashley Furniture, but they refused to respond or call me back. After asking for a Full Refund, they sent a Technician out to my home on Jan 10, 2022. He wanted to replace a portion of the furniture only with the wrong Color Leather Type Material, the Incorrect Texture and Type of Leather. I refused such repair, because my set would not be matching, and instead it would have looked like a “Car that was pieced together from a junk yard.” Furniture that doesn’t match, anymore.
Under the Federal Lemon Law, “Magnusom-Moss Warranty Act,” and Ashley Furniture unable to replace/repair the furniture, after their Manufacturer’s Defect, I am requesting a Full Refund. I would have never ordered furniture, if I knew in advance that Ashley Furniture cannot honor our Sales Agreement and their Manufacturer’s Warranty. They made me pay in advance, but I have to trust that they will honor their end of our Sales Agreement. They don’t want to honor their Warranty! This is also evident when you research the outrageous number of complaints filed against DSG. The BBB shows 1 Star of 5, Total of 4,106 Complaints in 3 years (4 per day) and 2,078 Complaints in the last 12 months (6 per day). Outrageous! This does not reflect other complaints like the FTC, FCC, Attorney General, District Attorney and other Consumer Protection Agencies and Social Media sites like Reddit, YELP, TrustPilot, etc.
I’ve done nothing wrong and in fact followed all laws and agreement, until DSG and Ashley Furniture Failed Me and Breached our Sales Agreement and their Manufacturer’s Warranty. They are violating my consumer/legal rights and violated State and Federal Antitrust Laws.
I am seeking your help to protect my consumer and legal rights and stop a Bully who feels they are above the law and they can do whatever they feel. I need your help to get my money back and hold DSG dba Ashley HomeStore and Ashley Furniture accountable for their Fraudulent Behavior.

Fraudulent practices by Ashley Home Store owned by Ochs Brothers Inc
I ordered a couch and chair for $1936 on Oct 26, 2020..from Ochs Brothers Inc dba Ashley Home Store in Cape Girardeau, MO. Dave Hunt, the salesman, promised the furniture would be in no later than January 2021. Months of promises of a delivery date...I stopped by in person, called numerous times. Finally in July, 2021, I bought elsewhere and called to cancel. Told I could not. I closed the Synchrony acct so it could not be charged. Aug 2021 the chair came in....10 months after ordering. I reminded Sarah King, the manager, that I had cancelled. She informed me there was a 35% restock fee. (My contract clearly stated 15%!) I received a statement from Synchrony for $750 for a restock fee! I disputed but had to pay the minimum to preserve my excellent credit score. Eventually I received another statement with the furniture purchase of $2142 added on. Apparently the couch arrived and Ashley's did not bother informing me. And where did the $2100+ come from? My original contract states $1936.26! I went to the store and was told to take the furniture home, I would now need to pay $2800+ since I had disputed the restock charge. Dec 2021...I now have a bill totaling $2800+ for an illegal restock fee PLUS for furniture with a cost higher than my contract...and I have no furniture. Sarah King the manager told me in December she would investigate and get back to me. And 16 months after ordering the furniture....crickets. I have reported Ochs Brothers Inc dba Ashley Home Store in Cape Girardeau, MO, to the BBB, MO State Attorney General's Office, and numerous other places. I expect a refund of the amount I have paid to Sychrony, my total Synchrony statement to have a zero balance, and an apology for fraudulently charging me for furniture I don't have. I will never step into an Ashley Furniture store again because they misrepresent themselves and fraudulently do business. Zeroes were not a choice for this review.

Ashley Homestore is Fraudulent
I purchased furniture in April 2021 from Ochs Brothers Inc dba Ashley Homestore Cape Girardeau, MO. As of January 2022, they still could not deliver my Full Order. Since the Sales Contract does not have a Definitive End Date the contract is technically invalid. Even thought there might be some who argue and say there is a Sales Contract, but it is valid for 30 days only. After that 30 days, the Ochs Brothers should have offered me a Full Refund or ask if I wish to continue to wait, with the right to cancel at any time. When I asked a number of times to cancel my order, I am given the continued excuse of “it’s just an estimate,” I pushed for a reasonable fulfillment date to agree on a full refund, and they just continue to say, “The delivery date is just an estimate.” I have no idea how an indeterminate delivery dates is an acceptable business practice. They say whatever they need to at the point of sale (I chose this specific set because David Hunt told my wife and I that it was currently in stock and could be delivered within 4-6 weeks). Then they say whatever they need in order to string you along (I was told several times, it would just be another 4 weeks). So they get to tell you whatever they want verbally with no accountability, but hold fast to a contract that has an estimated delivery date which they refuse to set a reasonable fulfillment date for. Then when the sales associate and store manager admit they have no idea when they will be able to fulfill the order, they still say the only way to cancel is with a 35% penalty. Where is the reasonableness and consumer fairness in this, much less the integrity?
Ochs Family is using Fraudulent Business Practice to Victimize me. Since November 2021, Ochs Family has refused to cancel my order for a Full Refund. When visiting in person, the sales associate, David Hunt and store manager, Sarah King, even acknowledged they had no idea when they would be able to fulfill the order.
